Woman Singer's Dangerous Rope Bed Setup In Moving Mahindra XUV700 [Video]

One of the newest trends currently in India is to convert SUVs into camping vans by designing unique kitchen and bed setups. Now, taking inspiration from such camping builds, a woman singer from Bihar has done something very unique with her Mahindra XUV700. She was recently seen sitting on a rope bed inside her SUV. It has to be mentioned that even though it is very different, it is highly dangerous and unsafe.

This video showing the woman singer sleeping and sitting on a bed inside her Mahindra SUV has been shared on Instagram by Shiva Choudhary Official on their page. We can note that inside this particular Mahindra XUV700, the two seats on the right side were completely folded down, and on top of them was a rope bed. This metal frame bed was being used by the singer while the vehicle was being driven on a highway.

In this short clip, the woman singer can first be seen sitting on the bed, after which she can be seen lying down completely while the vehicle is in motion. Following this, she can be seen changing her positions a couple of times, and during this, she was singing a Haryanvi song. It can be noted that there was nobody else beside her. However, most likely, there was a driver and another person who was recording the video.

Extremely dangerous bed setup

This particular video might look funny and innovative to some people. However, it has to be noted that this is extremely dangerous for the occupants sitting inside this particular Mahindra XUV700. Normal seats inside the vehicle are equipped with seat belts and are positioned in a way in which people can sit comfortably, and even in the event of an accident, they can remain safe.

However, when the seats are folded down and a bed is placed on top of them to sleep, it defeats the purpose of having seat belts. Thankfully, nothing happened in this particular scenario. However, if this vehicle got involved in a collision, the person sleeping on the bed would get seriously injured. Also, even though the Mahindra XUV700 is a five-star safety-rated vehicle, it will not be able to protect its occupants with such illegal and irresponsible modifications.

What about people who build camping vehicles?

A number of people would have the question that if this is risky, then what about the people who have bed and kitchen setups in their vehicles for camping? Well, the answer is that those vehicles are designed to accommodate beds and kitchens. People do not use them while the vehicles are in motion, which makes it safe—unlike in this case, where the singer was using the bed while the vehicle was in motion.

Mahindra XUV700 and its misuses

This is not the first time that we have seen someone being reckless inside a Mahindra XUV700. As we all know, the XUV700 was the first vehicle in India to get Level 2 ADAS, which enables hands-free driving with the supervision of the driver. Well, some people in India thought that there are other ways to use ADAS as well.

There have been numerous videos in which drivers of the Mahindra XUV700 have been seen sitting in the back seat while the vehicle was being driven by ADAS. There also have been instances where drivers were seen playing cards, eating food, sleeping in the rear, and doing all the crazy things except for driving the vehicle normally.
