Women In Car Beat Up Security Guard For Stopping Them At ‘No-Parking’ Zone: Arrested (Video)

In a shocking incident, two women in a Maruti Baleno beat up a private security guard for stopping them from parking in a ‘no parking zone’. The incident took place in Mamallapuram, Tamil Nadu. A video of the same was later shared on Twitter.

At the start of the video, a security personnel can be seen stopping a Blue Baleno ( or it could be the Glanza, as no distinct visual identity can be seen in the video), from entering a ‘No Parking’ zone. He has something that looks like a stick in his hand. He is doing his job by stopping them and instructing them to not park there.

The Baleno/Glanza has at least four people inside- two ladies seated at the rear, and a guy in the co-driver seat. The incident happened near the Four Rathas in Mamallapuram, and they are likely tourists.

They are offended by the security chap stopping them, and soon start yelling at him. Despite the guy standing right in front of the car, the driver attempts to move it forward. The security moves aside, asking them to stop- clear and loud. Enraged by this, a lady rushes out and starts shouting at him. She soon starts to beat the personnel and is joined by the other occupants.

It is the two ladies that start the fight and beat up the guy. They simply took advantage of being women as fighting them back would land any man in trouble. Soon the guy loses his temper and tries to block a slap and fight the woman back. Seeing this, the men folk from the car rush into action and beat up the security chap. The angry woman is seen beating the chap with his own stick until it breaks into pieces.

The security guy’s condition seems miserable. This incident is proof of how certain people in our country commit crimes by taking advantage of their own privileges. It could also be seen as a smart exploitation of the loopholes in our law and order systems.

The video has amassed a huge number of views and shares. People can be seen criticizing the ones in the Baleno for their deeds. Netizens are urging the Tamil Nadu police to take immediate action against the people in the Baleno, and so do we. We are not sure if a probe has already been initiated. Also unknown is how long the cops would take to track down and book these people.

Here, the security was just doing his job by stopping the car from going into the ‘NO Parking ‘ area. In places with high footfalls like the Four Rathas, it is common to have well-structured and neatly marked ‘parking’ and ‘no parking’ areas. There could even be set routes or lanes for going around. As responsible citizens and responsible drivers, we are bound to always go by these. Breaking these rules/instructions and opening physical assaults on enforcement personnel is an extremely unhealthy practice if not a crime in itself…
