Dad Gifts BMW Instead Of Jaguar: Angry Son Dumps Luxury Car In River [Video]
Everyone likes a gift. If the gift is an expensive car, would you say no? We feel most of us reading this story wouldn’t decline the offer. However, we have often come across cases from outside India where kids who are not happy with the gift often destroy it and demand another. Here we have one such case from India where a dad gifted his son a BMW car but the unhappy son drove the vehicle into a river as he wanted a Jaguar instead of a BMW. Not only did he drive the car into the river, he also posted a video of the same online.
The incident happened in Haryana’s Yamunanagar. It looks like the car seen here in the video is a BMW 3-Series or 5-Series. The incident happened back in 2019. It is not known what exactly was the occasion for the kid to get an expensive gift like a car and that too an expensive one like a BMW.
It should be noted that in 2019, the car would have easily cost them around Rs 50 lakh. As per the reports, the youth who was not happy with the car decided to push the car into a river that was already swollen due to the rain in the region. Not only did he push the car, he also made a video of the same. The reason why he pushed the car into the river was because he wanted a Jaguar sedan instead of a BMW.
As the water levels in the river were high and the flow was also too strong, the car was swept away by the current. The video was uploaded on social media and in the video, we can also see the angry kid sharing his disappointment.
The car was going with the flow of the river and got stuck on a small patch of grass or an island in the middle of the river. The youth then took help from the locals to recover the same vehicle, and a video of the same is also available online.
The exact details of the person who did this stunt are not known. The cops have also taken the youth into custody, but it is not known if he has been arrested yet. Also, it is not known which sections will be imposed on the youth if he gets arrested. The father is a landlord in Haryana, but the exact identification could not be established. It is also not known if the car was recovered by the administration.
Apart from the identity, the age of the youth who pushed the car into the river is also not known. We have seen many people gift such expensive cars to their spouse, kids, partners or even siblings in the past. However, this is probably the first time we have seen someone destroy a car like this just because it was not the one he wanted.
We really condemn this act, as this is not the right way to respond in such cases.
