Fantasy Cricket Expert Anurag Dwivedi's Lamborghini Urus, Mercedes Benz Sezied During ED Raid

The residence of the popular YouTuber and fantasy cricket influencer Anurag Dwivedi, who rose to fame for making a fortune from just Rs 300, has recently been raided by the Enforcement Directorate (ED). This raid was under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA), and as a result, his Lamborghini Urus S, Mercedes-Benz E-Class, Ford Endeavour, and Mahindra Thar have been seized by the authorities. It has been mentioned that these cars were bought from the proceeds of illegal online betting and gambling operations.
Currently, Anurag Dwivedi is in Dubai for his lavish wedding. However, the event which triggered the raid at his house by the ED involves an FIR registered by the West Bengal Police, in which Dwivedi has been named for cheating, forgery, and operation of illegal online betting portals.
Based on this FIR, the ED registered an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) and began tracking the money trail. Investigators have now highlighted that Anurag Dwivedi has played a key role in promoting illegal betting platforms and helped them in expanding their user base.
It has been reported that a 16-member ED team conducted raids lasting nearly 12 hours. The locations which were searched by the ED included Dwivedi’s residence in Unnao, Uttar Pradesh, his family home in Khajur village, and his uncle's house in Nawabganj. The officials arrived with CRPF deployed to protect them. It has also been reported that Dwivedi's mother was brought in to open the house in the village.
As for the assets and items seized by the ED, the list includes four luxury cars—a Rs 4.2 crore Lamborghini Urus S in yellow color with VIP registration number “0004”, a black Mercedes-Benz E-Class, a black Ford Endeavour, and a black Mahindra Thar three-door. They have also seized his bank records, property documents, digital devices, and overseas investment details.
According to the Enforcement Directorate, Dwivedi promoted illegal betting applications such as Sky Exchange. As a result of these promotions, he received payments through hawala channels, mule bank accounts, and cash deliveries via intermediaries. Also, large sums of money were credited to the accounts of his company and family members’ accounts. So far, no legitimate commercial justification has been found for these transactions.
Additionally, the ED has claimed that Dwivedi has invested in high-value immovable properties in Dubai as well. These assets were allegedly purchased using proceeds of illegal betting promotions and hawala transfers. Additionally, Dwivedi has currently left India after the transactions, and despite multiple ED summons, he has failed to appear.
For those who may still not be aware of who Anurag Dwivedi is, he is a young boy who hails from Khajur village in the Unnao district of Uttar Pradesh. In 2017–18, when he was even younger, he lost a large sum of money while being associated with cricket bookies. He then moved to Delhi and shifted his focus to fantasy cricket platforms like Dream11.
Following this, he grew his online presence and currently has 7 million YouTube subscribers and 2.4 million Instagram followers, and he is known for fantasy cricket strategies, motivational content, and cricket-related videos. As for his luxury purchases, over the years, apart from the cars seized by the authorities, he has bought a Land Rover Defender 130, BMW Z4, BMW 7-Series, and a Maruti Suzuki Dzire.
