YouTuber Test Drives MG Cyberster EV Even Before India Launch [Video]

The MG Cyberster EV is the brand's only electric modern-day sports car. What makes it even more special is that it comes powered by a dual-motor electric drivetrain that delivers 593 bhp of power and 725 Nm of torque. Now, although it has been confirmed for launch in India, MG has not officially launched this sports car in the country. However, despite this, recently a YouTuber managed to get a test drive of this sports car, and he has shared a video of it online.
This video showing the test drive of the upcoming MG Cyberster EV sports car has been shared on YouTube by MRD Cars on their channel. The vlogger mentions he is currently in Thailand, and he will be testing out the soon-to-be-launched-in-India MG Cyberster EV. After this introduction, he sits in the driver's seat of this sports car and then starts giving its details.
He first talks about the unique airplane cockpit-like dashboard of this vehicle. The vlogger highlights that it is a very driver-centric layout and gets a very premium-looking flat-bottom steering wheel. Its dashboard features a triple-screen layout. It also gets a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster for the driver, a 10.25-inch infotainment screen, and a 7-inch touchscreen for AC controls.
He then also shows the convertible roof of this sports car. Next up, the vlogger starts the drive of the MG Cyberster EV and mentions that there will be three courses on which he will be driving. During the drive, the vlogger mentions that the car is offered with different regeneration levels and driving modes, which alter the handling of the vehicle.
After this, the host states that the first course is where he will flat-out accelerate this vehicle. Then, in the second course, they will be checking out the handling by driving it in a zigzag pattern. And finally, he will be driving the vehicle on the third course, which will help in checking out the quality of the suspension of the MG Cyberster EV.
Following this, the driver then lines up the Cyberster EV for the first course. Immediately after being shown the green flag, he punches down the accelerator, and the car reaches triple-digit speeds in just a few seconds. The official 0-100 kmph time of the MG Cyberster EV is 3.2 seconds, which is supercar-level quick. The vlogger adds that as the space was not enough, he had to brake immediately.
After the acceleration test, the vlogger takes the Cyberster EV on the second course, which had cones in the middle of the road, and he drove the car in a zigzag pattern. He mentions that as it is a very low sports car, it has minimal body roll. Finally, he tests the suspension of the vehicle and states that, like sports cars, it has to be driven very carefully. Overall, the vlogger mentions that it is an amazing car to drive.
Recently, MG announced that it took the Cyberster EV to the Sambhar Salt Lake in Rajasthan and achieved a record of going from 0-100 kmph in 3.2 seconds. This particular MG Cyberster EV was driven by Indian F4 driver Mira Erda. It made the record of Asia’s fastest accelerating vehicle, and this record has been acknowledged and verified by the Asia Book of Records and the India Book of Records.
