Zomato Boss Deepinder Goyal's G-Wagen, Bentley, And Aston Martin Vantage On Video
Zomato, the Indian multinational company specializing in food delivery, restaurant discovery, and dine-out services, needs no introduction today. Almost all of us use it or atleast have the app installed on our phones. Its founder, Deepinder Goyal, is an avid car enthusiast and owns a multi-crore garage. He previously made headlines by adding A Ferrari Roma and an Aston Martin Vantage to his collection. A video shared on Instagram shows some of these parked near what is claimed to be his home in Gurugram.
The Video
This clip seems to have been captured from a car that was driving by the house. It shows a Mercedes-Benz G Wagen, Bentley Continental GT, and an Aston Martin Vantage parked in front of an urban mansion. Text on the video reads ‘Gurugram Zomato owner house’. Comments, however, said that the Zomato founder lives in DLF Camellias in Sector 42. We lack clarity on this front. The cars seen here, however, belong to Goyal.
A Closer Look At The Cars
He purchased the all-new Aston Martin Vantage in December last year. It was his second Aston Martin then, and also held the title of the first new Vantage to be sold in India. Finished in a Matte Black colour, it shared its garage with a DB12.
The new Vantage has an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.99 crores in India. It went on sale here in August 2024. It comes with a revised styling, an improved cabin, and a more advanced Mercedes-sourced powerhouse. The two-door sports coupe’s latest generation comes with a larger grille, vertical air curtains, LED lighting, fender air ducts, tweaked bumpers, rear diffuser, and 21-inch wheels finished in Satin Silver.
Inside, the new Vantage gets new trim and layout. The cockpit now looks more modern and comes equipped with features like a new 10.25-inch infotainment screen, wireless smartphone connectivity, 3D live mapping, 15-speaker Bowers and Wilkins audio, new digital instrument cluster, physical toggles for most controls, automatic climate control, and powered seats. The steering wheel is new, and most of the switchgear has been revised.
The biggest upgrade on the new Vantage lies in its engine. It is now powered by a more powerful version of the Mercedes-sourced 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8. It produces 656 bhp and 800 Nm and the car can go from 0 to 100 kph in just 3.5 seconds. The top speed stands at 325 kph. Improvements have also been made in the suspension and braking departments.
The next car in the video here is the Bentley Continental GT finished in Monaco Yellow. This sedan has been optioned with 21-inch Black alloy wheels. At launch, it had an ex-showroom price of Rs 6.5 crores. The biggest talking point of this vehicle is its mighty W12 engine.
The 6.0-litre petrol engine is the same that comes on his (other) Bentley Continental GT. It makes over 650hp on the Speed. The Continental GT Speed is no longer on sale in India. We expect a hybrid successor to arrive later this year.
Now, the final car in the video- a Mercedes G Class. Commonly called the G-Wagen or the Geländewagen, this SUV is a favourite among A-list celebrities and wealthy businessmen. It stands out with its character and tough genes. Goyal seems to own the G63 AMG variant- the most brutal a G can get.
Finished in Obsidian Black, it houses 4.0L V8 under its hood. Mercedes-Benz India brought its latest iteration to our shores in October 2024, at an ex-showroom price of Rs 3.6 Crores. The twin-turbo mild-hybrid petrol engine on this makes 585 PS!
