In the past few weeks, we saw the likes of the facelifted Thar, new Bolero, and the updated NEO making market entries. Here are 10 more launches expected in the next three months.

Skoda Octavia RS - High Performance Sedan, Fully Booked!

skoda octavia rs

Skoda India will launch the new Octavia RS in India on October 17th. The carmaker started accepting orders for the performance sedan earlier this week and the initial batch of 100 units (yes, the Octavia RS iill be a CBU import) got sold out in no time. The RS will likely have its price in the range of Rs 50-55 lakh, ex-showroom.

The Octavia RS has always had a cult following in India. The new fourth-generation Octavia RS will be powered by the same 2.0L TSI turbocharged four-cylinder petrol engine that makes 265hp and 370 Nm, as the Golf GTI. This will thus be the most powerful iteration of the Octavia RS yet. Just a 7-speed DSG automatic gearbox will be offered in India, and the car will have a Front Wheel Drive (FWD) layout. It will be able to do the 0-100 kph run in 6.4 seconds and will have a top speed of 250kph. A sports exhaust system will also be offered.

Tata Sierra EV - The legend back in electric form

2025 Tata Sierra side

Tata Motors is gearing up to launch the long-awaited Sierra.EV in India. The new Sierra will have both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and EV versions, the latter of which would come first. As reported by us previously, a top Tata official has confirmed that the EV’s launch will commence during the festive season. The new Sierra.EV will have a handsome, futuristic design. It will come with LED headlights, large wheels and window glasses, connected LED DRL, connected LED tail lamps, and a closed-off grille. Inside, the EV will be well-kitted. Expect to find a triple-screen setup, dual-zone climate control and more. The Sierra.EV will be underpinned by Tata’s new-age Acti.EV platform. Tata Motors is now developing a new turbocharged petrol engine for use in models including the Harrier. The new 1.5L TGDI four-cylinder petrol engine will be capable of producing 168 PS and 280 Nm. Compared to the diesel, the turbo-petrol engine will offer slightly lower torque figures. According to the latest reports, the Harrier petrol will launch in the coming months.
