10 New Electric Cars Launching In 2025

The upcoming months will be filled with exciting electric car launches in various different segments. So, if you are an electric vehicle enthusiast and are waiting to get your hands on the perfect EV, then you have arrived at the right spot. Here are all the details of the 10 upcoming electric vehicles in India.
The first new electric vehicle to enter the Indian market is the MG M9 electric luxury MPV, positioned as the electric alternative and rival to the Kia Carnival and more expensive Toyota Vellfire. The MG M9 will come equipped with a single electric motor and a large 90 kWh battery pack. Its range will be around 430 km, and its highlights include twin sunroofs, ottoman-style powered seats, rear seat entertainment, and others. Pricing will be around Rs 70 lakh.
Another unique electric vehicle to be officially launched in India is the MG Cyberster EV sports car. This scissor-door-equipped electric car will be launched with a dual motor setup making 510 bhp and 725 Nm of torque. It will be capable of doing a sprint from 0–100 kmph in just 3.2 seconds. The battery pack will be a 77 kWh unit offering 580 km of range. Price will be around Rs 80 lakh.
Tata Motors has launched the RWD variants of the Harrier.ev with prices starting at Rs 21.49 lakh and going up to Rs 27.49 lakh. However, the AWD variants will be launched around June 27. The AWD Harrier.ev will come equipped with a dual motor setup making 369 bhp and 504 Nm of torque.
In addition to the recently launched Kia Syros, the company, based on this model, is planning to launch the new Clavis EV in India. This new affordable EV will go on sale around 15th July. Most likely, it will be borrowing the same electric powertrain as the Hyundai Creta Electric. Its battery pack options will include a 42 kWh offering 390 km of range and a 51.4 kWh battery pack offering 473 km of range.
To compete with the Hyundai Creta Electric, MG Windsor Pro, Tata Harrier.ev, and others, the country's largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, will be officially launching the e Vitara in India. This new model will be offered with two battery pack options — 48.8 kWh and 61.1 kWh units — offering a maximum range of 500 km on a single full charge.
As per the reports, MG is looking to replace its aging ZS EV with the new S5 EV in India. This new model is expected to launch later this year. It is expected to come equipped with a 174 bhp and 280 Nm front-axle-mounted electric motor. Once launched, it will be taking on rivals like the Maruti e Vitara, Tata Curvv.ev, and others.
The Mahindra XUV 3XO EV, or the XUV400 EV, has been recently spotted testing on various occasions. This time around, it will look like the new XUV 3XO but will boast the same electric powertrain. These options include 34.5 kWh and 39.4 kWh, and power will be around 148 bhp and 310 Nm of torque.
Tata Motors is finally bringing back the iconic badge Sierra to its lineup with the electric powertrain borrowed from Harrier.ev. Highlights of the Sierra.ev will include a 4-spoke steering wheel, triple screen layout, dual-zone climate control, and many others. Launch is expected around the festive season of this year.
The Vietnamese electric automaker VinFast will soon be launching its electric SUV VF6 in India. This Creta Electric rival will mostly be offered with a 174 bhp and 250 Nm of torque front-wheel motor. As for the battery pack, it could most likely be offered with a 59.6 kWh battery pack providing a range of 410 km.
Sitting just above the VF6, the VF7 is expected to get a single electric motor capable of producing 201 bhp and 310 Nm of torque. As for the battery pack, it might be offered with a 75.3 kWh battery pack providing a range of 450 km. A more powerful variant could also be launched in India.
