2024 Mahindra Thar ROXX Front End Officially Revealed
The country’s largest SUV manufacturer, Mahindra Automotive, is filling all of the SUV lovers in this country with excitement as the launch date of 15th August for its all-new SUV, Thar Roxx, is closing in. The company has started sharing more detailed pictures of the highly anticipated SUV. This time around, the company has shared a clear picture of the front fascia of the Thar ROXX.
Mahindra Thar ROXX: Front Revealed
This picture of the Mahindra Thar ROXX’s front fascia has been shared on X by the brand. The image gives us a clear look at the front-end design of this already popular SUV. We can note that the main highlight of the Thar ROXX’s front will be its unique grille, unlike the three-door Thar, which offered a very basic six-slat grille.
The Thar ROXX offers a more detailed grille with six hollow rectangles. There are six on top and four on the bottom. Speaking of the bottom, the extreme ends get triangular elements. All of this combined is finished in black, which makes it look very premium. There is also an embossed Mahindra logo on top of the grille.
Another one of the biggest highlights of the new Thar ROXX is its all-LED headlight units. The three-door Thar comes equipped with halogen headlights, and most of its buyers are used to getting aftermarket LEDs. However, this time around, the company has already equipped this variant with modern-looking LED projector headlights.
It also gets C-shaped LED DRLs, which add to the premium appearance. Another detail that we can note is that the SUV has been given a front camera as well, which means that it will come with a 360-degree camera and ADAS Level 2 features. Apart from this, there is a similarly designed front bumper with fog lights.
Mahindra Thar ROXX: Previous Teaser
Just before this front fascia reveal, the company also shared another teaser showing the interior details of this SUV. The teaser has revealed that the SUV will be getting a fully digital instrument gauge cluster, and from the looks of it, most likely it will be a 10.25-inch screen. It has also been shown that it will be getting a much more modern infotainment screen.
The Thar ROXX will be getting a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. Apart from this, it will also be getting automatic climate control, premium beige leatherette upholstery, and Harman Kardon speakers. All of these features will make the Thar ROXX a lot more plush than its three-door counterpart.
Mahindra Thar ROXX: Engine Options
Mahindra will be offering the new Thar ROXX with both petrol and diesel engine options. The lower variants of the SUV will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged diesel engine. Meanwhile, the higher variants will use a 2.2-liter mHawk turbo diesel and a 2.0-liter mStallion turbo petrol engine.
These engines will be tuned differently from the three-door version. Both petrol and diesel variants (higher models) will be offered with manual and automatic transmissions. The SUV will be available in both RWD and 4×4 variants as well.
