Maruti Suzuki has finally launched the all-new fourth-generation Dzire in India. This time around, the popular sub-compact sedan has been launched with a price tag of Rs 6.79 lakh. From there, it will go all the way up to Rs 10.14 lakh. To give a better look at the new sedan from Maruti Suzuki, here is a detailed photo gallery of the new Dzire.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Exterior Design
Front
Starting off with the design, the most important changes have been made to the front fascia of the new Dzire, unlike previous-generation models, which were slightly revamped versions of their respective generation Swift’s fascias. This time around, Maruti Suzuki has given it a bold new design.
It now gets a much larger grille, a sleek black and chrome centerpiece, and new LED headlights. It also gets a completely new front bumper, and the LED fog light placement has also been changed. Overall, it now looks much wider and more premium than before.
Side
On the side profile, the Dzire does not get a lot of changes except for a new set of dual-tone alloy wheels. There is a small chrome garnish on the window line.
Rear End
At the rear end, the new Dzire gets a brand-new design. It now boasts a much sportier-looking tri-arrow-shaped LED taillights. There is also a chunky chrome garnish on the decklid, and it also gets a sleek lip spoiler and a shark fin antenna. The rear bumper is also completely new.
The new LED Crystal Vision headlamps of the Dzire look very premium and modern. It also gets an LED DRL.
The 2024 Dzire also gets a set of 15-inch alloy wheels finished in black and silver. The lower variants will come with 14-inch steel wheels.
Maruti Suzuki is offering the new Dzire with the segment’s first 360-degree camera on the auto-folding ORVMs.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Interior Design Details
Moving on to the interior, the new Dzire now gets a much more premium-looking cabin. The main highlight is the new dual-tone dashboard with a brushed silver element in the middle. It gets a multifunction steering wheel, sleek AC vents, cruise control, and a ton of other features.
Like other Maruti Suzuki models, the Dzire now gets a 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ touchscreen infotainment system. It comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
The sedan also gets a segment-first single-pane electric sunroof.
Right in front of the cup holders, the company has added a wireless charger.
The new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will come with a 5-speed manual as well as a 5-speed AGS (Auto Gear Shift) gearbox.
The Dzire also utilizes the same automatic climate control system that we have already seen on the other new Maruti Suzuki models.
It also gets dual-tone rear seats with an armrest and cup holders.
There are also AC vents in the rear.
Maruti Suzuki is also offering the Dzire with the Suzuki Connect application.
In terms of safety the sedan now comes with six airbags. It has also scored 5-star rating in the Global NCAP crash tests.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Engine Details
In terms of the powerplant, Maruti Suzuki has given the new Dzire their new Z12E three-cylinder petrol engine. In the standard model, it makes 81.58 PS of power and 111 Nm of torque. It comes mated with both a 5-speed manual as well as an AGS gearbox.
On the other hand, the CNG variants of the Dzire make 69.75 PS of power and 101.8 Nm of torque. The CNG variants come only with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
