2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Variant Details Out Ahead Of 11th November Launch
The country’s largest carmaker, Maruti Suzuki, is gearing up for the launch of the new-generation Dzire sub-compact sedan in India. Its bookings have already commenced, and the official launch is scheduled for 11th November. Now, just before the launch of the sedan, a number of new details about it have been leaked online. The all-new 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire will be launched in four variants, namely LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+.
2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire: New Details Leaked
At a time when automakers are offering numerous variants of their cars to lure in more buyers, Maruti Suzuki is keeping it simple by offering only four variants of the new Dzire. The variants, namely LXI, VXI, ZXI, and ZXI+, will all come equipped with idle start-stop (ISS) for better fuel efficiency.
Apart from the variants, the technical specifications of the fourth-generation Dzire have also been leaked online. As per the reports, the new Dzire will measure 3,995 mm in length, 1,735 mm in width, and 1,525 mm in height. Additionally, it will get a wheelbase of 2,450 mm and weigh 1,375 kg.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Design Details
The newest generation of the Dzire will now get a completely redesigned exterior and interior. This time around, it will not look like an extended version of the Swift hatchback; rather, it has been given a completely new design. At the front, the new Dzire now gets a set of much more premium-looking LED headlights.
Eagle-eyed viewers may note that these new headlights look very similar to the Audi A8 from a few generations ago. The new Dzire also gets a large front grille with horizontal slats and a big Suzuki emblem at the center. There are also LED fog lights on the lower section of the front bumper.
As for the side profile, the sedan now gets an all-new silhouette. The top-of-the-line variants will also get new multispoke alloy wheels finished in black and silver. Moving on to the rear, the new Dzire will feature a set of new Y-shaped LED taillights and a thick chrome bar in the middle.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Interior
Coming to the interior of the new Dzire, it has now been revamped and looks a lot more premium. It looks very similar to other new Maruti models. At the center, there is a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and just underneath it are the sleek AC vents.
Moving a little lower, we can also note the presence of an automatic climate control system. The new-generation Dzire will also come loaded with features such as Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, along with a wireless charger. Additionally, the main highlight of the new Dzire will be the offering of a single-pane electric sunroof.
Presently, no other sub-compact sedan in India is offered with a sunroof. This will make the Dzire the only car in its segment to offer this premium feature. The overall black-and-beige interior, with a number of brushed silver and faux wood elements, looks very premium.
Maruti Suzuki Dzire: Powertrain
The brand-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire will come equipped with the recently launched three-cylinder, 1.2-litre petrol engine. This motor will be able to produce 80 bhp and 112 Nm of torque. There will be both manual and automatic transmissions for the new Dzire. The company will also be offering a CNG variant in the coming months as well.
