Tata Motors has finally launched the much-anticipated facelifted iteration of its popular premium hatchback, the Altroz, in India. This hatchback takes on popular rivals like the Hyundai i20 and the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. Now, as we all know today, features play an important role in making a car successful in India. First off, let's start with the infotainment and connectivity features. The Altroz facelift comes equipped with a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system powered by Harman. It also gets a 10.25-inch digital instrument gauge cluster. Along with these, it comes with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay and a 65W superfast USB-C charger.

The Hyundai i20, on the other hand, gets 6 airbags, a 3-star Global NCAP rating, and features such as electronic stability control, hill start assist, and parking sensors. As for the Baleno, it comes with 6 airbags as standard, ABS, EBD, electronic stability control, and hill hold.

In terms of unique features, the Altroz facelift comes with a 360-degree surround view camera, voice-activated electric sunroof, blind spot monitor, flush-type door handles, map view in cluster, 90-degree opening doors, and infinity LED DRLs.

The Hyundai i20’s unique features include wireless charging and a sunroof. Lastly, the Baleno gets features such as a 360-degree camera and a heads-up display.

Interior comfort

The Tata Altroz comes with rear AC vents, ambient lighting, push start button, well-cushioned seats, and a decent 345-litre boot space. As for the i20, it comes with a premium interior feel, wireless charging pad, and a 311-litre boot space. Lastly, the Baleno comes with the most space in the cabin and rear AC vents.
