The Indo-Japanese automaker Toyota Kirloskar Motor recently launched its all-new crossover Urban Cruiser Taisor in India. This unique vehicle, as we all are aware, is based on the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. Recently, an in-depth walkaround of the Taisor has been shared online. The presenter shows and highlights all of the differences and details of what the Urban Cruiser Taisor has to offer.

This video of the detailed walkaround of the Toyota Taisor has been shared on YouTube by Fuel Injected on their channel. It starts with the vlogger introducing this crossover and talking about its price range. He mentions that the Taisor starts at Rs 7.74 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 13.04 lakh.

After this, he explains the price difference between the Taisor and Fronx. He states that when 1.2-litre petrol variants are compared, the Taisor is Rs 20,000 to Rs 25,000 more expensive than the Fronx. However, the pricing for the top-of-the-line 1.0-litre turbocharged variants is exactly the same.

Toyota Taisor engine options

Next up, the vlogger opens the bonnet of the car and shows the engine bay. He mentions that it comes with a decent amount of insulation. Next up, he explains that the Taisor comes with two engine options. The first is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This motor makes 90 PS of power and 113 Nm of torque.

He adds that this engine comes with the option of either a manual or an automatic transmission. Next up, he talks about the other engine option, which is a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine. This engine makes 100 PS and 147 Nm of torque. As for the transmission options, this engine comes with a manual as well as a 6-speed torque converter.

Exterior design

Front

Following the engine specifications, the vlogger starts with the exterior design of the Urban Cruiser Taisor. At the front, the Taisor gets a new front fascia compared to the Fronx. It comes with dual straight DRLs instead of the three individual LED pods.

It also gets a new honeycomb pattern grille. Next up, he mentions that apart from these, the trio-LED headlights have been kept the same. The Taisor also gets a redesigned front bumper and a more pronounced silver skid plate at the bottom.

Side profile

Next up, the vlogger shows the side profile of the Taisor. He states that it does not look any different than the Maruti Suzuki Fronx. However, there is a major differentiating factor, and that is its alloy wheels. The Taisor gets 16-inch diamond cut alloy wheels with a 10-spoke design. He states that they look like more sporty aftermarket alloy wheels.

Rear end

Finally, after this, he moves to the rear end. He mentions that the overall shape and roofline are exactly the same as the Fronx. He adds that it also comes with LED taillights with a connected LED bar in the middle. The only difference is that the internal design of the LED taillights is slightly different.

Toyota Taisor interior design

After showing the complete exterior, the vlogger shows the interior of the SUV. He states that it comes equipped with the exact same interior as the Fronx. He mentions that it gets the exact same color and layout. The main highlight of this interior is the 9-inch Smartplay Pro infotainment screen.

Just underneath it are the automatic climate control buttons and AC vents. It also gets modern features like a head-up display, 360-degree camera, wireless charger, and a ton of others. Overall, on the inside, there is not a single noticeable difference between the Taisor and the Fronx.
