2025 Kia EV6 Electric Crossover Launched In India At Rs 65.9 Lakh

The South Korean automotive giant, Kia India, has launched the all-new 2025 EV6 electric crossover SUV in India. This time around, the company has priced it at Rs 65.9 lakh (ex-showroom). As part of the upgrades, the new Kia EV6 gets an updated exterior, including new LED headlights and LED DRLs, ADAS 2.0, and a few other new features on the inside.
The new Kia EV6 is available in a single GT Line variant, which comes with an all-wheel-drive configuration. In terms of design, the new Kia EV6 comes with a sharper and more aggressive-looking front end. Its highlights include new “Star Map Graphic” connected LED headlights and LED DRLs, along with sequential turn indicators.
It also gets an edgy front bumper, which the company calls the “GT Line” front bumper. Moving on to the side profile, this crossover SUV gets a set of new 19-inch aerodynamic alloy wheels, which have a dual-tone black and diamond-cut finish, adding to its futuristic appearance.
Other notable highlights of the Kia EV6’s side profile are flush-type door handles and its coupe-like sloping roofline. At the rear, the Kia EV6 gets similar “Star Map Graphic” LED taillights, which feature a connected LED strip in the middle.
The rear bumper of this crossover SUV is also very bold. Kia is offering the EV6 GT Line in five color options. These include Snow-White Pearl, Aurora Black Pearl, Wolf Grey, Runway Red, and Yacht Blue Matte.
On the inside, the Kia EV6 comes equipped with a premium interior. The new updates include a new double D-Cut steering wheel with Hands-on Detection Technology. Apart from this, the SUV also gets a connected car navigation cockpit, which features a 12.3-inch panoramic curved display.
Other features include remote climate control, remote charging control, surround view monitoring (360-degree camera), a rotary drive mode selector, a premium Meridian 14-speaker sound system, an electric sunroof, and a number of other creature comforts that you can imagine in any high-end electric vehicle.
In terms of safety features, Kia has given the new EV6 the Kia Connect 2.0. This includes Kia Connect Diagnostics for remote vehicle diagnostics, over-the-air updates for 34 ECUs, and a digital key. With this feature, the smartphone of the owner can be used as a virtual key, and the vehicle can be unlocked, locked, and started with the phone.
Kia has also updated the new EV6 with ADAS 2.0. Its suite of features includes junction turning, junction crossing, lane change assist, evasive steering assist, and lane follow assist. The car also gets rear cross-traffic avoidance assist, safe exit assist, and blind-spot collision avoidance assist.
The all-new Kia EV6 GT Line is based on Kia’s Electric Global Modular Platform (E-GMP). This crossover SUV comes equipped with a massive 84 kWh battery pack, which offers a range of 663 km as per ARAI. As for the power figures, it offers 325 PS and 605 Nm of torque. This SUV can be charged from 10–80 percent in just 18 minutes using a 350 kW fast charger.
