Lexus has rolled out the 2025 edition of its NX 350h hybrid SUV with a set of incremental upgrades aimed at improving comfort, efficiency, and safety. While the core design and pricing remain unchanged, these updates focus on refinements that add value without altering the overall positioning of the model in the luxury SUV segment.
Focus on Design and Colour Options
The 2025 NX 350h carries forward the familiar styling of its predecessor but introduces two new exterior colour options. Radiant Red and White Nova bring freshness to the palette, catering to buyers seeking a more distinctive visual appeal.
Radiant Red will be offered on all trims except the Overtrail, while White Nova is available on Exquisite, Luxury, and Overtrail variants. This change keeps the SUV visually current without requiring a redesign.
Improved Efficiency and Refinement
At the heart of the NX 350h remains the 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol-hybrid powertrain producing a combined 240 bhp. The engine is now E20 fuel compliant and continues to pair with an e-CVT transmission.
Fuel efficiency sees an improvement, with a claimed 20.26 km per litre, higher than the outgoing model. This focus on efficiency aligns with the growing importance of lower running costs even in the premium SUV segment.
Cabin refinement has also been enhanced with additional sound insulation materials, particularly around the rear seating area. Lexus has used felt-based inserts to cut noise intrusion, ensuring a quieter in-cabin experience.
Alongside, the air conditioning system has been reworked with thicker filtration fabric and improved materials that better capture microscopic particles. The recalibrated climate control now contributes to efficiency gains while maintaining comfort standards expected in this class.
Functional and Safety Enhancements
The standout new addition for 2025 is Uphill Assist Control. This feature integrates with the hybrid system to automatically regulate vehicle speed during uphill climbs, reducing the driver’s workload in challenging conditions. It adds a practical layer of convenience and safety, reflecting the brand’s measured approach to functional upgrades.
The NX 350h continues to be offered in four trims. Prices remain unchanged at Rs 68.02 lakh for the Exquisite, Rs 71.88 lakh for the Overtrail, Rs 72.79 lakh for the Luxury, and Rs 74.98 lakh for the F-Sport. By retaining the existing price structure, Lexus signals confidence in the SUV’s market positioning while providing incremental improvements.
Features and Technology Remain Comprehensive
The equipment list carries over from the previous model and remains extensive. Standard features include a 14-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a digital driver display, and a 17-speaker Mark Levinson audio system. Buyers also get a coloured heads-up display, ventilated front seats, wireless phone charging, ambient lighting, a powered tailgate, and a panoramic sunroof.
Safety equipment is equally robust. The NX 350h continues with eight airbags, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring, and a Level 2 ADAS package with lane-keep assist and adaptive cruise control. These inclusions underline the SUV’s positioning as a technology-driven, safety-conscious offering.
