Putting an end to anticipations, Mahindra has launched the new Bolero and Bolero NEO lineups in India. As you know, the Bolero has been a long-standing nameplate, and is now available in two distinct forms- the standard Bolero and the Bolero NEO. The original Bolero was launched in 2000, and the NEO came in 2021. The updated 2025 Bolero starts at Rs 7.99 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.69 lakh for the top-spec. These are 80,000 and 69,000 less than the ex-showroom prices of the outgoing variants.

The urban-oriented Bolero NEO has a starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh, ex-showroom. The new GST reform enabled the manufacturer to pull off these prices successfully.

The original Bolero had a unique, utilitarian design. Even after 25 years of being in business, the design still feels like an evolution of the original’s. The facelift, interestingly, hasn’t brought about major styling changes.

Compared to the Bolero that was on sale previously, the new SUV features a new set of diamond-cut alloy wheels and a bold new grille design. The fog lamps now sit on a reworked bumper. Mahindra has also given the facelifted Bolero a new Stealth Black colour. A total of four colour options are available- Stealth Black, Diamond White, DSAT Silver, and Rocky Beige. Previously, only two colours were offered on the Bolero.

It comes mated to a five-speed manual transmission. An advanced suspension architecture, which Mahindra calls ‘RIDEFLO’ can also be found on the SUV.
