Mahindra launched the Scorpio N a few years ago, and just like the original Scorpio, the Scorpio N has also received an overwhelming response. However, when compared to other Mahindra models, the Scorpio N is still missing out on a lot of features. It looks like Mahindra has decided to change that narrative and come up with an update for the Scorpio N. Mahindra recently released a video on X that hints at the same.

The video has been shared by Mahindra Scorpio’s official X profile. In the video, we do not see the Scorpio N at all. We only see lane markings on the road that are blinking. On the middle lane, it says: “Guess what’s coming – power always stays on course.”

This is actually a very strong hint from Mahindra about one of the features that will be offered with the Scorpio N. This is probably the teaser video for the Level 2 ADAS feature that will be offered with the SUV when they launch the updated version. The illuminated lane markings in the teaser video are probably hinting at the lane keep assist feature that ADAS offers.

This feature ensures that the car stays in its lane and doesn’t change lanes without indicators. In case the car swerves away from the lane, the radar and sensors will detect and correct the course.

As of today, the Mahindra Scorpio N doesn’t get any Level 2 ADAS features. Mahindra is also selling the Scorpio N in other international markets, and these features will be made available to them as well. Apart from the Level 2 ADAS, Mahindra will also be offering features like a panoramic sunroof with the Scorpio N, as there is a demand for such features among buyers in the market. Mahindra might also offer a bigger touchscreen, as seen in the Roxx, and a seat ventilation feature.

scorpio n update

Mahindra is unlikely to change the exterior design of the Scorpio N. The updates are likely to be limited to features only. The Mahindra Scorpio currently comes with a multi-function steering wheel, single-pane sunroof, speaker system from Sony, leatherette upholstery, automatic climate control, 360-degree camera, and so on.

The Mahindra Scorpio N is currently the only SUV in this segment that comes with a proper 4x4 system. It is not the greatest off-roader, but it will get the job done. The Mahindra Scorpio N facelift, or the updated 2025 version, will continue to use the same petrol and diesel engines currently on offer.

The Mahindra Scorpio N petrol version uses a 2.0-litre turbocharged unit that generates 200 Bhp and 380 Nm of peak torque. The diesel version uses a 2.2-litre turbocharged engine that is available in two states of tune. The lower-spec version generates 130 Bhp and 300 Nm of peak torque, while the higher variants generate 172 Bhp and 400 Nm of peak torque.

Both petrol and diesel engine options get manual and automatic transmission options. Only select diesel variants come with 4x4 options. The current price of the Mahindra Scorpio N starts at Rs 13.99 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 25.15 lakh (ex-showroom).
