World's First 3rd Gen Renault Duster Right Hand Drive Variants Launched: Coming To India Soon

The French automaker Renault has launched its latest-generation Duster mid-size SUV in South Africa. This is the first time that the right-hand-drive version of this SUV has gone on sale. Most likely, the company will be officially launching the same right-hand-drive Renault Duster in India in the coming few months. A video showing and highlighting all the details of the Renault Duster has been shared online.
This video showing the all-new Renault Duster right-hand-drive has been shared on YouTube by Motor Matters Car Reviews on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that he has arrived in Cape Town, South Africa, to test-drive the all-new Renault Duster. After this, he shows the different-colored Dusters in the parking lot and mentions that the company is offering it in unique colors.
Following this, the video then shows a clip of multiple Renault Dusters on a sand dune. This drive was part of the launch event of the Duster in South Africa to display the capabilities of its 4WD system. It can be seen that the SUVs on the sand were easily able to maneuver. After this quick test, the vlogger then starts showing the exterior design of the new Renault Duster.
He starts by showing the front end of this SUV. The vlogger highlights that at the front, the SUV gets a set of Y-shaped LED DRLs and LED headlights. It also gets Renault lettering on the front grille and an aggressive front bumper with a large silver surround, which also extends into the lower portion of the bumper as the skid plate. Apart from this, the SUV also gets a set of fog lamps set on the lower portion of the bumper.
Moving on, the vlogger then shows the side profile of this SUV. It can be noted that the vehicle gets a set of 10-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels. Apart from this, the SUV also gets a set of chunky side claddings, which extend from the front wheel arches all the way to the rear. There is also black cladding on the front doors, which has a Duster badge. There is also a 4WD badge on the front right fender well.
As for the rear, the host mentions that it looks equally bold. He highlights that the vehicle gets a set of Y-shaped LED taillights, and it also comes equipped with a chunky rear bumper with a large skid plate and four parking sensors. Apart from the main taillights, there is also a set of taillights set on the extreme ends of the bumper. The Duster also features the newly redesigned Renault logo as well.
Following the exterior design, the vlogger then shows the interior of the right-hand-drive version of the Renault Duster. He mentions that the dashboard layout is very driver-centric and looks very modern and futuristic. It gets a 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster and a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment screen. Apart from this, it gets automatic climate control and fabric upholstery.
He mentions that this particular version, which he is test-driving, is the 1.3-litre petrol version, which comes with a 48V mild hybrid system. This engine is capable of producing around 130 bhp. The vlogger states that this engine feels a lot more powerful than the company claims.
Now, whether this variant will be launched in India or not has not been revealed. It is believed that the India-spec model could get the same 1.3-litre petrol engine that was offered in the last-generation model.
