2025 Renault Kiger And Triber Facelifts Spotted Testing Together
The French automaker Renault has been working on the development of the facelifted iterations of the sub-compact SUV Kiger and the affordable seven-seater MPV Triber. Recently, two test mules of these new models were spotted testing together. Both the Kiger and Triber facelifts were seen with heavy camouflage. Despite this, a few new details of these upcoming models were noted. Most likely, Renault will be officially launching these new models before the end of this year.
Renault Kiger and Triber facelift: Test mules spotted
Kiger facelift
First off, let's start with the Renault Kiger facelift. The test mule spotted was seen with an updated front fascia. It continues to boast the same split LED headlight setup. However, its front bumper has now been revamped. It gets a larger lower air dam. Apart from this, the rear spy shots of the new Kiger have also been shared.
We can note that this new model will get updated rear LED taillights, a double bubble integrated roof spoiler, and redesigned LED taillights. Apart from these, the rear bumper will also be changed, but the exact design has been hidden by the heavy camouflage.
Recently, we shared the images of the new Kiger which will be launched in India, as this model has already been launched in South Africa and Latin America. It was noted that at the front, this sub-compact SUV will come equipped with a new gloss black grille, which gets a geometric diamond pattern, chunky faux silver skid plate, and fog lights on both ends.
The overall silhouette of the 2025 Kiger gets a much stronger SUV-like design. Also, the A, B, and C pillars, along with the roof of this SUV, will be finished in high gloss black. It will also get new 16-inch 10-spoke diamond-cut alloy wheels. On the roof, it will also get pronounced roof rails as well.
Inside, the new Kiger will get an updated dashboard layout, 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system, 7-inch digital instrument gauge cluster, multifunction steering wheel, automatic climate control, and the centre console has been changed as well. Powertrain options of the new Kiger will remain the same.
It will get the time-tested 1.0-litre naturally aspirated petrol making 72 PS of power and 96 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the more powerful 1.0-litre turbo petrol, which makes 100 PS of power and 160 Nm of torque, will also be offered. It will now get more 5-speed AMT gearbox options across various trim levels. Meanwhile, the standard gearbox will be a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Triber facelift
Apart from the Kiger facelift, a test mule of the Triber facelift will also be launched in India this year, and its test mule was also spotted at the same time. From the images, it can be noted that the new Triber will come equipped with an updated rear bumper and new taillights design. There are no spy images of the front of this MPV.
However, most likely it will come with a new grille, new front bumper, and a set of new headlights. Now, whether they will get LED units or projector halogen headlights is currently unknown. The interior is also expected to get updated with a new dashboard layout, bigger touchscreen infotainment system, and the addition of more features. Powertrain option of the 1.0-litre NA engine will be the same. However, there are reports that it could get a new 1.0-litre turbo petrol.
