Upcoming Renault Triber Compact MPV Facelift Spotted For The First Time

Renault has been dormant in the Indian market for quite some time, and it looks like 2025 is going to be the year for the French brand. They already have a new strategy for the Indian market and are expected to launch several new and updated versions in the market. One such product is the Renault Triber. We have now come across a set of new images that show the upcoming Triber facelift for the first time.
The images have been shared by Autonation India on their Instagram page. In this post, we see a fully camouflaged MPV on a flatbed. This is probably the first time we have seen the Triber facelift on the road. It looks like the MPV was being transported from one location to another for testing.
Although the car is fully camouflaged, it is very easy to identify, mainly because of its styling. Renault has not made many changes to the overall design of the MPV. The Triber facelift is expected to come with an updated front grille, headlamps, and bumper. The changes to the headlamps are likely to be very minor. Renault might offer a revised grille to give it a more premium or updated look.
Coming to the rear, the Triber will get smoked clear-lens LED tail lamps. Just like the front, the rear bumper of the MPV is also likely to see some changes. We do not get a clear view of the wheels here, but we expect Renault to make changes to the wheel design as well.
Apart from this, everything else about the Triber looks the same as the current version. The exact location where the car was spotted is not known. In the coming weeks, more such images and videos of the upcoming Renault Triber MPV are expected to surface online.
Coming to the interiors, Renault is likely to offer the same design as the current version, but it wouldn’t be wrong to expect more features. Renault might offer features like automatic climate control, wireless phone charging, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, auto-dimming IRVMs, auto headlamps, cruise control, and many more. It would continue to offer a touchscreen infotainment system and might also borrow the digital instrument cluster we first saw in the Kiger.
Coming to the engine and transmission, the Renault Triber is expected to be powered by the same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates 72 Bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option. A company-fitted CNG version is also likely to be launched in the market.
One of the major complaints that many Triber customers had was that the engine felt underpowered when the car was fully loaded. There were reports that Renault might introduce the 1.0-litre turbocharged engine in the Triber, which is already being used in models like the Renault Kiger and Nissan Magnite. However, we are not sure if the 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine will be included in the Triber facelift.
This is the first time the Triber is receiving a major update since its launch. Renault is expected to launch the updated Triber MPV in the coming months.
