Renault Triber MPV Facelift Teased Ahead Of Tomorrow's Launch: What To Expect

Renault has been working on a facelift for their popular MPV, the Triber, for quite some time. The MPV has been spotted testing on several occasions, and it looks like Renault is finally ready to launch the 2025 Triber facelift. The car will be officially launched tomorrow, and before its official unveiling, Renault has now released a teaser video of the Triber MPV facelift.
The video has been shared by Renault India on their Instagram page. In this newly released teaser video, we get a glimpse of the rear of the upcoming MPV. We see the Triber badge on the tailgate. The font and the style of the letters are different from the outgoing model. Along with that, we also see a redesigned rear bumper with integrated parking sensors. The lower part of the bumper is likely to get a grey shade, or it might also be a faux skid plate.
The tail lamps are also seen in one of the frames, and the design looks more or less the same. They are now clear lens LED units with a black-coloured applique running between the lights. The next shot shows the front grille of the Triber facelift. It is different from the current Triber as it gets an all-black grille with Renault’s new logo. These are the details that we could see in the teaser video.
Based on the spy pictures and videos that are available online, we have a fair idea of how the MPV will look. It is going to look more or less the same as the outgoing model. As this is a facelift, Renault will make cosmetic changes to the exterior and interior of the MPV. It will get redesigned headlamps, bumper, alloy wheels or wheel covers, tail lamps, and even the cabin.
The cabin design is likely to remain more or less the same, but Renault might offer a new colour theme to give it a fresh look. The touchscreen infotainment system might grow in size, and similarly, it would also get an updated digital instrument cluster. Renault might also offer features like a 360-degree camera, which is becoming common in cars lately.
As we all know, the Renault Triber is currently the most affordable three-row MPV on sale in India. The car is available with a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine generates 72 Bhp and 96 Nm of peak torque. It is available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option.
The Triber facelift is likely to use the same engine and transmission options. There were plans to introduce a 1.0-litre turbocharged engine to the Triber, but it looks like that is not happening anytime soon.
The price for the current version of the Renault Triber starts at Rs 6.15 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 8.98 lakh (ex-showroom). The Renault Triber facelift is likely to get slightly more expensive because of the added features and updates. However, it is still likely to remain the most affordable three-row MPV in the country.
