2025 Skoda Kodiaq Launched In India: Prices Start From Rs 46.89 Lakh

After months of wait, the Czech automaker Skoda India has finally launched the newest generation of the Kodiaq flagship SUV in India. This new model has been launched with a price tag of Rs 46.89 lakh. For the 2025 model year, Skoda is offering the Kodiaq in two trims – Sportline and L&K (Laurin and Klement). The Sportline is the sportier and more aggressive trim; meanwhile, the L&K trim is the more classy and sophisticated version of this popular and opulent SUV.
First off, let's talk about the pricing of the 2025 Skoda Kodiaq. The Sportline variant of this luxury SUV has been launched with a starting price of Rs 46.89. As for the L&K (Laurin and Klement) variant, it has been priced at Rs 48.69 lakh. Both of these prices are ex-showroom prices and are very competitive to take on rivals like the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster, and the Jeep Meridian.
In terms of the design, Skoda has given the new Kodiaq an evolutionary design. This time around, the SUV gets the bold signature Skoda butterfly front grille, new and sleeker LED headlights with cornering function and welcome effect. The Laurin and Klement variant gets vertical chrome slats and dark chrome & silver accents, silver roof rails, and a C-pillar finished in silver to give it a more classy appearance.
As for the Sportline variant, it gets gloss black trim, blacked-out elements, and a Sportline badge on the fenders to signify the difference. Overall, it looks more sporty. Both SUVs also get LED tail lights, unique bumpers to their trim, and variant-specific alloy wheel designs. Both trims get 18-inch dual-tone alloys.
Skoda is offering the Kodiaq with five common color options, namely Velvet Red, Graphite Grey, Moon White, Magic Black, and Race Blue. Also, there are two exclusive color options as well. These include Sportline only – Bronx Gold Metallic, and L&K only – Steel Grey Metallic.
Moving on to the interior, both SUVs get an overall same layered dashboard layout. They also get a panoramic sunroof, smart dials which are physical knobs for AC and infotainment, multi-colour ambient lighting, and a generous amount of soft-touch materials and plenty of storage compartments.
In terms of the trim-specific elements, the Sportline variant features a much sportier-looking all-black interior upholstery with more supportive seats. Meanwhile, the L&K variant gets dual-tone Cognac (tan & black) with a contrasting white headliner. Apart from these, the SUV also gets a 12.9-inch touchscreen infotainment system and wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto.
It also gets a 13-speaker Canton sound system, dual wireless chargers, and a 10.25-inch fully digital driver’s display. Other features include a display cleaner & parking ticket holder, second-row sunblinds, tablet holders, and rear seat comfort features. Both variants also come with three-zone auto climate control and powered front seats.
The Sportline variant also comes with ventilated front sport seats. Meanwhile, the L&K variant gets massage, ventilation, heating, and memory for front seats. Lastly, both trims get an electric tailgate with a virtual pedal, keyless entry, gear selector on the steering column, sliding & reclining second row, and center armrest with cup holders.
Skoda has taken care of safety by offering the new 2025 Kodiaq with numerous safety features. These include 9 airbags, ESC, ABS, EBD, and many other systems, tyre pressure monitoring system, hill start assist, hill descent control, 360-degree camera, Intelli-park assist, driver drowsiness detection, and pre-crash proactive passenger protection.
Powering both the Sportline and Laurin and Klement Skoda Kodiaq is the same 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine, which makes 204 PS (14 PS more than the last generation model) and 320 Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a 7-speed DSG gearbox, and it will come with an all-wheel-drive system.
