All-New Skoda Kodiaq Luxury SUV Spied In India Ahead Of Launch
The Czech automaker Skoda is getting ready to launch the all-new 2025 Kodiaq in India. Recently, two different iterations of this flagship SUV from the brand were spotted on public roads without any camouflage. One of the Kodiaqs was finished in blue, and the other was finished in metallic green. Most likely, the company will be launching the Kodiaq in India in the coming few months.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Spotted Without Camouflage
The video showing two Skoda Kodiaqs being driven on the roads without any camouflage has been shared on YouTube by Automobile with Bruce on their channel. In the video, it can be noted that the Kodiaq in the front was finished in metallic green and had chrome emblems and garnishes. This was the Laurin & Klement Edition.
Apart from this, there was another Kodiaq following the first car. This one was finished in blue and had blacked-out emblems, and other trims were finished in black as well. This was the Sportline variant, and it was also seen with different front and rear bumpers, which looked more aggressive.
Skoda Kodiaq Laurin & Klement Edition
The Skoda Kodiaq Laurin & Klement Edition will come with chrome elements across the grille, window lining, and tailgate. It will also get “Laurin & Klement” badging on the front fenders, tailgate, and inside the cabin. As part of the design update, the new Kodiaq now gets full LED Matrix headlights with dynamic turn indicators.
Apart from these, the SUV will also get silver-finished roof rails and chrome-finished ORVMs. Other notable highlights of the 2025 Kodiaq are its 18-inch alloy wheels with a unique design exclusive to the L&K variant. The rear also gets connected LED taillights and the new Skoda badge.
On the inside, the Skoda Kodiaq will come equipped with beige leather upholstery with ‘L&K’ branding on the seats. Other notable highlights will be its premium piano black interior trim with chrome inserts, a 10.25-inch Virtual Cockpit digital instrument cluster, and a 9.2-inch touchscreen infotainment system with navigation, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto.
The Skoda Kodiaq Laurin & Klement Edition will also get a Canton 10-speaker premium sound system with a subwoofer and a 575W output. It will also come equipped with powered front seats with a memory function for the driver’s seat. Multi-color ambient lighting with multiple custom settings will also be offered with this model.
2025 Skoda Kodiaq Sportline
In addition to the L&K variant, the Skoda Kodiaq will also be offered in a sportier Sportline trim. On the outside, it will get sharper-looking front and rear bumpers. Apart from these, the Sportline trim will also get a black front grille, black ORVMs, and black D-pillars. There will also be blacked-out Skoda lettering and badging, along with bigger 19-inch alloy wheels.
On the inside, the Skoda Kodiaq Sportline will come with an all-black sporty interior with Alcantara leather upholstery. There will also be a flat-bottom sports steering wheel with perforated leather and contrast stitching. Aluminum-finish pedals, ambient lighting (red-themed for a sportier look), and sport seats with extra bolstering for better support will also be offered by the Czech carmaker.
Powertrain
Both the L&K and Sportline variants will get the same drivetrain. It will be a 2.0-litre TSI turbo-petrol engine, which will produce 190 bhp and 320 Nm of torque. Transmission duties will be handled by a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch) automatic transmission. An All-Wheel Drive (AWD) system for better grip and handling will also be offered.
