2025 Tata Tiago NRG Launched At Rs. 7.2 Lakh

Tata has updated the crossover version of their entry-level hatchback, the Tiago, for 2025. The 2025 Tiago NRG is now available with minor design changes and feature updates. The price for the updated 2025 version of the Tata Tiago NRG starts at Rs 7.2 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2025 Tiago NRG crossover hatchback now comes with a new silver skid plate at the front and rear. The bumper also gets minor revisions. The Tiago NRG now sits on 15-inch wheels, which come with all-new wheel covers. The black plastic cladding that runs around the lower part of the vehicle, thick roof rails, black applique on the tailgate, and NRG badge at the rear all remain unchanged.
On the inside, the Tiago NRG gets an updated cabin, similar to the regular Tiago. It now comes with a large 10.25-inch infotainment touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a rear camera, auto headlights and wipers, a digital instrument cluster, and many more features. The cabin theme of the Tiago NRG is all black.
With the 2025 variant, Tata has decided to discontinue the entry-level Tiago NRG XT variant, which was only available with a petrol manual transmission. The 2025 NRG version is now available only in XZ and XZA variants. The NRG is available with both petrol and CNG fuel options.
The Tiago is powered by a 1.2-litre, 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that generates 86 PS and 113 Nm of peak torque. The CNG version of the Tiago NRG uses the same engine but generates 76 PS and 95 Nm of peak torque. Both petrol and CNG versions are available with a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox option.
The price for the petrol version of the Tiago NRG starts at Rs 7.2 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 7.75 lakh (ex-showroom). The CNG version prices start from Rs 8.2 lakh (ex-showroom) and go up to Rs 8.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Tata Tiago NRG is the only hatchback in this segment to get a crossover version. It is a suitable car for those looking for a hatchback with a different styling. For those who want an SUV-like look in their car without spending too much, the NRG is a good option.
Compared to the regular Tiago, the Tiago NRG gets 180mm of ground clearance, which is 10mm more. This additional clearance will help when driving through rough sections on Indian roads. The car is now loaded with premium features like a large touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument cluster, automatic headlamps and wipers, and more. This means you are not missing out on any features.
If you feel the Tiago NRG’s petrol version is not suitable for you, Tata also offers the same model with a factory-fitted CNG kit. This is actually the i-CNG version, where the twin cylinders are neatly packed in the boot without compromising boot space. For convenience, both petrol and CNG versions are available with manual and AMT gearbox options. Tata is the first manufacturer in the country to offer an AMT option with CNG models.
