2025 Tata Tiago, Tiago.EV And Tigor Prices Revealed

Yesterday we posted a story about Tata Motors planning to launch updated versions of the Tiago EV in the market. It looks like the updates are not just limited to EVs. Tata is likely to offer updated versions of Tiago and Tigor in the market. The entry-level models from Tata Motors are available in both ICE and electric forms. Tata has now updated the models, and they now come with better features than before. As the cars are now available with updated features, the manufacturer has updated the prices too.

Tiago (Petrol & CNG)

2025 Tiago & Tiago EV

We’ll start with the ICE version of Tiago. The small hatchback comes with updated features like LED headlights, shark fin antenna, free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, updated digital instrument cluster, new 2-spoke steering wheel, rear parking camera along with fabric seats, and ESC.

Some of the variants like XTO, XT Rhythm, XT NRG, and XZO have been discontinued. A new XZ variant has also been introduced. The other existing variants have seen a price rise of up to Rs 30,000. Tata has also introduced a new XZ variant in both petrol and CNG versions. The price for Tata Tiago starts at Rs 5 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 8.20 lakh.

Tiago EV

Just like the ICE version, the Tiago EV has also received similar feature updates like LED headlights, a redesigned front grille, new 14-inch aerodynamic wheels, EV badge on the front doors, black and grey cabin theme, two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, along with other updates as seen on the ICE version.

Coming to the variants, Tata has discontinued the XZ Plus variant of Tiago EV, and it has seen a price increase of up to Rs 14,000. The price for Tata Tiago EV now starts at Rs 8 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 11.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Tata Tigor

Coming to the Tigor, this sub-4-meter sedan also gets feature updates like the Tiago. The LED headlights, shark fin antenna, 360-degree camera, free-standing 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, updated instrument cluster, ESC, and other features are similar to those of the Tiago.

2025 Tata Tigor

Tata has discontinued the base XE variant, and the base variant of Tigor 2025 is the XM variant. Tata has also introduced new XT and XZ Plus Lux variants for the Tigor sedan. The price of the new base variant XM has been reduced by Rs 60,000, and apart from that, other variants have seen a price rise of up to Rs 20,000. The price for the Tata Tigor sedan starts at Rs 6 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes all the way up to Rs 8.50 lakh. The price for the CNG variant starts at Rs 7.70 lakh (ex-showroom) and goes up to Rs 9.50 lakh (ex-showroom).

Both Tata Tiago and Tigor are powered by the same petrol engine. They use a 1.2-litre, three-cylinder, naturally aspirated engine that generates 86 Ps and 113 Nm of torque in petrol and 73.5 Ps and 95 Nm of torque in the CNG form. Both these sedans are available with manual and AMT versions in both petrol and CNG variants.

The Tata Tiago EV is available with two battery pack options. The lower versions use a 19.2 kWh battery pack that generates 61 Ps and 110 Nm of torque. This variant has a claimed range of 221 km. The 24 kWh battery pack offered with the higher variants generates 75 Ps and 114 Nm of torque. This variant offers a claimed range of 275 km.
