5 Mass Market Cars And SUVs Launching In The Next 7 Days

April seems to be a busy month for the Indian automotive landscape. Several new models are set to arrive, including stylish special editions and all-new products and facelifts. Here's a closer look at five cars and SUVs launching in India in the next seven days.
Volkswagen is set to launch a sportier and more premium version of the Tiguan SUV in India. The 'R-Line' variant is set to bring better styling and more features to the flagship SUV.
This version stands out with connected LED headlights, a wide air dam, 19-inch ‘Coventry’ alloy wheels, connected tail lamps and sharp creases near the fenders.
Inside, the Tiguan R-Line will come with a massive 15-inch touchscreen, wireless charging for two devices, 30-colour ambient lighting, and tri-zone climate control. The digital instrument cluster would measure 10.3 inches.
The front row will have R-Line-branded sports seats with massage function, and lumbar support. The company has also added Park Assist Plus with parking distance control to make tight parking spots easier to handle.
Under the hood, the R Line packs a 2.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine that produces 204 horsepower and 320 Nm of torque. It will be mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch gearbox and have an all-wheel-drive system. It can sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 229 km/h.
The safety suite will have nine airbags, hill assist, hill descent control, and a Level 2 ADAS suite with 21 functions.

Skoda will launch the second-generation Kodiaq next week. The SUV was previously displayed at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2025. The manufacturer has recently been teasing the vehicle on social media. The new Kodiaq will be assembled at the Aurangabad plant.
The design continues to carry strong SUV identity, but now it looks more modern. It gets matrix LED projector headlamps, connected LED tail lamps, and a refreshed grille with sharp body lines. There will also be a 4x4 badge on the exterior.
Inside, the new SUV gets leatherette upholstery, dual digital screens, a floating touchscreen infotainment system, and ambient lighting. There will be a new two-spoke steering wheel, panoramic sunroof, and three-zone climate control as well.
The new Kodiaq will use a 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine, shared with the Tiguan. It produces 188 bhp and 320 Nm of torque and comes mated to a 7-speed DSG gearbox and a 4x4 system.
For safety, it will come equipped with eight airbags, ABS with EBD, and other modern safety features. Expect the launch on April 17.

Citroën will launch a Dark Edition of its C3 hatchback this April. This special edition brings cosmetic changes and a darker look to the popular hatch.
The C3 will come finished in sleek black paint with subtle silver accents on the faux skid plates. The alloy wheels will get a dual-tone treatment for added style.
Inside, the C3 Dark Edition will have a full-black theme. Expect to see ‘Dark Edition’ branding on the seats, grey inserts, red stitching on dashboard, seats, and armrests, seatbelt covers and cushions
The engine options remain the same. Buyers can choose from a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated or turbo-petrol engines, available with both manual and automatic gearboxes.

Citroën's Basalt coupe SUV is also getting a Dark Edition this month. It’s one of the most stylish compact SUVs on the market, and this new edition takes that further.
The Basalt Dark Edition will wear Black paint with contrasting trims on the bumpers and grille. A ‘Dark Edition’ badge on the rear will add exclusivity, while the wheels remain the same.
Inside, Citroën has swapped the beige and bronze interior for a blacked-out dashboard with contrast stitching. The AC controls get a dark chrome finish. The rest of the features — including the 10.25-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, automatic climate control, and six airbags — remain unchanged.
This edition will only be available in the top-spec variant with a 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine that delivers 109 bhp. It will come with either a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed automatic transmission. Expect a price hike of around ₹30,000 to ₹40,000.

Rounding out the list is the Citroën C3 Aircross Dark Edition. This SUV follows the same formula, getting a full black treatment and a few visual upgrades.
The exterior will be painted black with silver skid plates to break the monotony. The dual-tone alloy wheels will remain unchanged, but a black ‘Dark Edition’ badge will be added to the tailgate.
Inside, the SUV gets black leatherette upholstery with red highlights. Gloss black accents on the dashboard, ambient lighting in the footwells, and illuminated sill plates help elevate the cabin experience.
Like the regular version, the C3 Aircross will be powered by 1.2-litre petrol engines in both NA and turbo versions. Manual and automatic gearbox options will be available.
