The upcoming 12 months will be filled with exciting car launches from Tata Motors. In the last few months, the sales of the company have been soaring, and now, to keep the momentum up, Tata Motors is planning to launch 5 new vehicles. Tata Harrier Turbo Petrol

The first vehicle to make its debut in the coming months is the Tata Harrier Turbo Petrol. This time around, the already popular Harrier will be getting a much-requested turbo petrol engine. It is believed that the company will be offering the new model with a newly developed 1.5-litre TGDi turbo petrol engine. It will be capable of producing around 168–170 bhp of maximum power. Torque will be around 280 Nm.

For transmission options, the company is expected to offer a 6-speed manual gearbox as standard, and there could also be the offering of a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic gearbox. Reportedly, it will be launched around the festive season or just before the end of this year. The design will likely remain unchanged. Pricing could be around Rs 1 lakh lower than the current model.

Tata Safari Turbo Petrol

In addition to the Harrier, the elder 7-seater sibling Safari is also expected to be powered by the same 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine, making 168–170 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. Expect the launch of the Safari Turbo Petrol to be around the same time as the Harrier with the same engine. Once launched, the Tata Safari petrol will be taking on the petrol-powered variants of the Mahindra XUV700 and Scorpio-N, along with the Hyundai Alcazar.

Tata Motors has managed to garner a lot of attention with the launch of the new Harrier.ev. Now, based on the same electric drivetrain setup, the company is planning to launch the much-awaited Sierra.ev. This new model brings back the iconic moniker to the Tata lineup, and this time around, it looks a lot more modern and futuristic.

This SUV will boast a bold, muscular, and upright stance. On the inside, it will be getting a triple-screen layout featuring three 12.3-inch displays, of which the middle infotainment system and the passenger side screen will be touchscreens. Meanwhile, the driver will get a digital instrument gauge cluster.

Other notable highlights will include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charging, and ventilated seats. It is expected to get the same 75 kWh and 65 kWh battery pack options as the Harrier.ev. It could also get the same QWD (all-wheel-drive system), with it making 369 bhp and 504 Nm of torque.

Tata Punch.ev Facelift

Tata Motors launched the Punch.ev back in January of last year. Ever since then, the company has not given this vehicle any new update. Now, it has been reported that the company is currently working on the development of a facelifted version of this popular electric sub-compact SUV. Expect to see an updated front fascia with a new bumper, new alloy wheels, and a new rear bumper.

Current battery pack options of 25 kWh and 35 kWh are likely to be retained. Feature-wise, it will get a 360-degree camera, blind spot monitor, 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, and others. As for the launch, it is expected to make its debut in the first half of next year.

Following the launch of the Tata Sierra.ev, the company will also launch the ICE version of the Sierra as well. This mid-size SUV will be taking on popular SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, and many others. Design-wise, it will be slightly different from the EV version.

In terms of the powertrain options, it is expected to be offered with the 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine from the Harrier and Safari Petrol. This will make around 168–170 bhp and 280 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, the other option will be the 2.0-litre Kryotec diesel, making 170 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. The rest of the features on the inside will remain the same as the EV model.
