In the past, we have come across several cases where car owners who were not satisfied with their newly bought vehicles responded in their own unique ways. Some of them used the car to collect garbage, while others used donkeys to pull the vehicle. Many of them even installed banners and stickers to publicize negative things about the cars. Both Indian and foreign brand cars are involved in such cases. This time, we have a video of a Toyota Innova Hycross customer who is threatening to burn his car down after a sunroof blast.

The video has been shared by IBN24 News Network on their YouTube channel. In this video, we see a Toyota Innova Hycross customer who is complaining about the aftersales service of a Toyota dealership. The MPV seen here is registered in Haryana, and according to the customer, he took delivery of the Innova Hycross earlier in May this year.

He mentions that after taking delivery, he used the car for only 10-15 days before the first incident. He, along with his colleagues, was driving back home from work. The Innova Hycross was climbing a flyover when they suddenly heard a loud noise. It felt like a blast, and the owner initially thought one of his tires had gone flat.

He stopped the Innova Hycross and checked the tires and was surprised to see them intact. However, the sunroof of his vehicle was missing. The panoramic sunroof of the Innova Hycross had shattered for no reason. Thankfully, the fabric curtain that sits under the glass portion was closed when this happened. If it had been open, there was a chance that the occupants might have gotten injured.

The owner mentions that when he took the car to the service center, he didn’t have a good experience. They even asked the owner if he intentionally broke the sunroof. They only believed the customer when he showcased the dashcam footage. They then agreed to replace the sunroof for free. However, now the car is facing another issue.

The owner says in the video that the company claims they have replaced the glass with a brand new one. However, the glass installed on the customer’s car has scratches, and he claims that the alignment is not correct either. He mentions that after his car returned from the service center, he has noticed another weird issue.

When he uses the AC in his car, the exterior panels get frosted, and he also gets condensation inside the panoramic sunroof. The owner has been extremely frustrated with the vehicle, and he mentions that his family and friends are all scared to sit in this car.

The only reason he chose Toyota was because he thought they were reliable and responsible and had good aftersales service. However, this experience proved all of that wrong.

The owner is now threatening in the video that he plans to set the car on fire on Independence Day. He says he’ll do it in front of the Toyota service center, which he claims ruined his car worth Rs 37.50 lakh.
