2025 BYD Seal Electric Luxury Sedan: Prices Revealed
BYD India has announced the pricing for the 2025 model year BYD Seal electric sedan, with ex-showroom prices starting at ₹41 lakh. The Premium and Performance variants are priced at ₹45.70 lakh and ₹53.15 lakh respectively, reflecting a minor increase over the previous year. These prices include the latest upgrades and are effective immediately for new bookings which can be made with a token amount of ₹1.25 lakh. BYD Seal 2025: Updates at a Glance
The 2025 BYD Seal brings several enhancements focused on comfort, technology, and driving dynamics. All variants now come standard with a power sunshade, a silver-plated dimming canopy for a more premium cabin feel, and a larger air-conditioning compressor with an upgraded air purification module. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now standard across the range.
Performance upgrades are a highlight for the 2025 Seal. The Premium variant now features Frequency Selective Dampers (FSD), previously exclusive to the Performance trim. The Performance variant debuts BYD’s Disus-C intelligent damping system, which dynamically adjusts suspension thousands of times per second to optimise comfort and stability.
The Seal continues with its advanced Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) low-voltage battery, which is six times lighter than conventional batteries and offers five times better self-discharge performance. The battery is engineered for longevity, with an expected lifespan of up to 15 years.
