In addition to this, Citroen has also officially commenced the bookings for the Aircross X with a token amount of Rs 11,000. Like the C3 X and Basalt X, the Aircross X will also be getting a ton of premium feature upgrades to lure in more buyers.

For those who may be wondering what will make the Citroen Aircross X different from the standard model, well, first of all, the company has made the cruise control feature standard across all variants of the Aircross X. It will also get brand-new leatherette upholstery, repositioned air conditioning system controls, new AC vents, and an upgraded touchscreen infotainment system.
Moving on, it is also expected to get premium features like its sibling Basalt X, which include ventilated front seats, push button start/stop, auto-dimming IRVM, wireless phone mirroring, and charger. Other notable highlights might include keyless entry, ambient lighting, LED fog lamps, optional 360-degree camera, wireless Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay.
In terms of safety features, the Citroen Aircross X will come with six airbags, ABS, EBD, and Electronic Stability Program (ESP). Optional safety features may include hill hold assist and rear parking sensors along with a 360-degree camera and auto-dimming IRVM.
Like all new editions, the Citroen Aircross X will also get a few key exterior design upgrades as well. Of these, from the teaser, it can be noted that it will get a unique dark green shade for the exterior and new “X” badging on the rear tailgate. The alloy wheels and the overall design of the Aircross X will be the same as the standard model.
Citroen will not be offering any new powertrain options with the Aircross X. The first will be the 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, which makes 82 bhp of power and 115 Nm of torque. This engine gets a manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the other option is the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine, which makes 110 bhp and 190 Nm of torque with a manual gearbox and 205 Nm with a torque converter automatic.
The Citroen Aircross in India takes on the rivals in the already crowded mid-size SUV segment. This segment is dominated by the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, and many others. Most likely, these feature upgrades of the Citroen Aircross X will help it in getting more sales.
Currently, the Citroen Aircross starts at Rs 8.62 lakh, which makes it one of the most affordable mid-size SUVs in the segment. From there, it goes all the way up to Rs 14.59 lakh. It is also the only mid-size SUV in India to offer a 5+2 seating arrangement.
