Citroën Launches New C3 X With 15 New Features!

The French automaker Citroën India, in order to boost the sales of its micro-SUV, has launched the new C3 X in India. The new C3 X range starts at Rs 7.90 lakh and goes up to Rs 9.89 lakh. Citroën has added 15 new features to the C3 X, which include a first-in-segment cruise control with speed limiter, a 360-degree camera, auto-dimming IRVM, and a few others.

Pricing

First off, let's start with the pricing of the newly launched Citroën C3 X. The C3 X Shine NA with the PureTech 82 engine starts at Rs 7.90 lakh. Meanwhile, the C3 X Shine NA dual-tone is priced at Rs 8.05 lakh. As for the C3 X Shine Turbo PureTech 110, it has been priced at Rs 9.10 lakh, and the automatic trim has been priced at Rs 9.89 lakh. As for the standard C3, it starts at Rs 5.25 lakh.

Design and features upgrades

The new C3 X, as part of the upgrade, now gets a metropolitan leatherette-wrapped instrument panel (IP). It also gets a 10.25-inch Citroën connected touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Other notable highlights of the C3 X include six airbags, an electronic stability program, ABS + EBD, and hill-hold assist.

The main highlight of the C3 X is the addition of a new HALO 360-degree camera system with seven viewing angles. It also gets an auto-dimming IRVM and cruise control with speed limiter. It is the only micro-SUV that offers this feature. The C3 X also comes with Proxi-Sense passive entry and push start.

Citroën is also offering the C3 X with an all-LED lighting package, LED interior lighting, and rear USB Type-C fast charging. On the outside, the new C3 X gets signature split LED DRLs and a new C3 X badge on the rear. Colour options include Polar White, Steel Grey, Cosmo Blue, Perla Nera Black, and Garnet Red. Dual-tone options include Cosmo Blue with a Polar White roof and Garnet Red with a Perla Nera Black roof.

Powertrain

Powertrain options of the C3 X include the same 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine, which makes 110 PS and 205 Nm of torque. There are two gearboxes on offer: a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter option. There's also the option of a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder naturally aspirated engine, which produces 85 PS and 110 Nm of torque. A 5-speed manual gearbox comes standard with this engine.
