Exterior Design

The Renault Duster 7-seater, or the Dacia Bigster, boasts a very imposing design. Its boxy appearance with perfect SUV proportions gives it a big road presence. At the front, it borrows a similar front fascia as the 5-seater Duster. However, there are a few key design changes.

It will come equipped with all-LED headlights with Y-shaped LED DRLs. There are also eight LED strips on the front grille, along with an illuminated Dacia logo. When it gets launched in India, this Dacia logo will be replaced by the Renault badge. Now, whether that will be illuminated or not is unknown.

Moving down the front fascia, there will be LED fog lights, along with a squared-off air dam and a chunky skid plate. On the side profile, the company will continue to offer the same massive wheel arches along with big diamond-cut alloy wheels. It will also get roof rails and pull-type door handles on the front doors.

The rear doors will get handles on the C-pillars. As for the rear-end design, it will look almost exactly like the Duster 5-seater. There will be Y-shaped LED taillights and Bigster badging on the lower left corner of the tailgate. There will also be a thick black cladding on the rear bumper, along with a sizable skid plate.

Interior Design

Coming to the interior layout, it remains the same as the Duster 5-seater. Renault has given the Bigster a modern, modular interior. The dashboard layout is very rugged yet futuristic. It boasts a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system in the middle, and just underneath it are the air vents with Y-shaped copper elements.

Moving a little lower, there will be controls for the automatic climate control system and a wireless charger. The Bigster will also get a multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel and a 10.1-inch digital instrument gauge cluster.

Another unique touch is that the SUV will get an inbuilt phone holder just beside the main infotainment screen. Apart from these, the Bigster will also get 40/20/40 split-fold rear seats and 20 percent recycled materials. Renault Bigster will also be getting an ADAS level 2 Arkamys audio system.

Renault Bigster Powertrain Options

In terms of powertrain options, the Bigster, like the Duster 5-seater, will be offered with three powertrain options. These will include a strong hybrid engine, which will make around 155 bhp, and a mild hybrid 1.2-litre engine with 140 bhp.
