Kia Carens Clavis Deliveries Commence: First Delivery [Video]
Two weeks ago, the South Korean automaker Kia India launched the Carens Clavis in the country. This new model has been launched with a price tag of Rs 11.49 lakh. Now, finally, the deliveries of this more premium version of the Carens have commenced. Recently, a video showing the first delivery of the Carens Clavis has been shared online. The owner of this particular car arrived with his entire family to take delivery of his new MPV.
First Kia Carens Clavis Delivery
This video of the first Kia Carens Clavis delivery has been shared on YouTube by Ziyan RN7 on their channel. It starts off with a few shots of the Kia dealership – Nagshanti Kia, located in Hubballi, Karnataka. Following this, the video shows the owner of the first Kia Carens Clavis arriving at the dealership with his wife on a Hero Xpulse adventure motorcycle.
Following their arrival, they entered the dealership and were then greeted by the sales staff. After this, the couple checked out their new vehicle and then sat at the table to finish signing off all the paperwork. The video shows that the entire family, including the parents and child of the owner, were present at the dealership for the special occasion of this delivery.
Finally, after all the paperwork was done, the entire family pulled off the cover from the Kia Carens Clavis, finished in the classy shade of silver. Soon after, this vehicle was brought out of the dealership, where the owner of the car was handed over the keys to his new vehicle. Following this, all the family members stood next to the Carens Clavis for pictures.
Lastly, the owner performed a few Hindu rituals along with his wife, and then they were presented with a cake. Finally, after this cake-cutting ceremony, the owner sat in the driver’s seat and his wife sat in the front co-passenger seat. They then drove off the vehicle from the dealership.
2025 Kia Carens Clavis
As mentioned, the Kia Carens Clavis, which is the more feature-loaded and more premium-looking version of the Carens MPV, was launched on May 23rd. It starts at Rs 11.49 lakh and goes all the way up to Rs 21.49 lakh. On the outside, the new Carens Clavis gets inverted L-shaped LED DRLs, new triangular LED headlights, and a closed-off front fascia.
On the side profile, it gets 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and integrated roof rails. As for the rear, it gets newly designed C-shaped LED taillights. Moving on to the other main highlights, the interior of the Carens Clavis comes loaded with features. It includes a massive 26.6-inch panoramic display panel. This comprises the central infotainment system and the all-digital instrument cluster.
The instrument cluster on the Clavis feels more readable and has better graphics. It also gets a 4-way powered driver's seat, ventilated front seats, 8-speaker premium audio system by BOSE, dual-zone climate control, multilingual VR commands, a massive panoramic sunroof, and a Level 2 ADAS suite.
Powertrain options of the Carens Clavis include 1.5 naturally aspirated petrol, 1.5L turbocharged petrol, and the 1.5L turbocharged diesel. Transmission choices are a 6-speed manual, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT. In terms of rivals, it competes with the Maruti Suzuki XL6 and lower variants of the Toyota Innova Crysta, Hycross, and the Maruti Suzuki Invicto.
