Helmetless Woman Rider With ‘Papa Gifted’ Number plate: Says “No Interview!” [Video]

Over the last few years, we have seen numerous videos where people have been caught on two-wheelers without helmets. However, despite raising awareness, people do not seem to understand the problem and continue to ride two-wheelers without helmets. Recently, a video has gone viral on the internet which shows how a woman who was driving without a helmet was caught by police authorities. The video has gained popularity, particularly because there was a very funny interaction that took place during this investigation. The vehicle of this woman also did not have its number plate.

This hilarious video of a woman without a helmet and number plate has been shared on Instagram by 11 on Foot on their page. It starts off with a few police officers surrounding a TVS Jupiter scooter at a regular traffic checkpoint on which a woman and her mother were sitting. There was also an interviewer in the video who was holding a microphone and was covering this particular investigation. The host states that this scooter does not have a number plate and instead has ‘Papa Gifted’ written on its front number plate.

Her Reaction After Getting Caught

At the same time, the woman who was riding the scooter had her face covered with a cloth but was not wearing a helmet. In the video, it was seen that when the interviewer was showing her scooter, she covered her face with her hands and said that she does not want to be a part of any interview. After this, the interviewer tells her that she has not been stopped for the interview. Rather, she has been stopped for not wearing a helmet and having a proper registration plate.

Following this, when she was asked about why she was not wearing her helmet, she replied that she was coming from the hospital. Soon after this, the interviewer tells her that even if she was coming from a hospital or she was going for an emergency, there is no acceptable reason to not wear a helmet. He also states that this is a vehicle that is being driven on public roads, and she has to follow rules and regulations at all times. The woman was then getting embarrassed and staring at the interviewer.

Across India, the trend of driving cars and riding two wheelers without number plates, and using random phrases such as these is common. Sometimes it is something like this ‘Papa Gifted’ or ‘Dadi’s Gift’, sometimes its phrases such as Cool Boy or Killer, sometimes its caste names. It is amazing that in 2024, people still do not realise that this is illegal!

Traffic Rules Violation

In India, unfortunately, traffic rules violation is a common problem, and a number of people every day are caught doing them. Earlier, the only way of catching such rule violators was to catch them at the spot. However, now there are AI cameras on most of the traffic signals which capture people on their vehicles with their number plates visible as they are violating rules. Following this, their images are sent to them via mail along with appropriate fines. These fines are then recorded within the RTO department for the registered vehicle.
