2025 Honda Elevate Launched With A Festive Makeover, Fresh Interiors And Features

Honda has refreshed the Elevate compact SUV for the festival season with new interior themes, styling touches, and feature additions. The update is aimed at keeping the model competitive in a segment that has seen several rivals add feature-rich versions in recent months. Rather than a full redesign, Honda has opted for a package of targeted changes that address customer feedback and market expectations.
The most notable update is a wider choice of cabin finishes. The top ZX trim now gets a two-tone Ivory and Black interior with leatherette seats and soft-touch inserts, replacing the earlier Tan option that had split opinions. The lighter look is designed to add a more premium feel.
Lower trims like the V and VX now come with black fabric seats featuring ivory inserts, replacing the Shadow Beige upholstery. This sportier theme is aimed at customers who prefer a darker and more modern interior. By offering varied themes across trims, Honda gives buyers more personalisation options while differentiating the variants more clearly.Sharper Exterior Choices.
On the outside, Honda has introduced an optional “Alpha-Bold Plus Grille” with a broader design for a more assertive road presence. This caters to buyers looking for bolder SUV styling without altering the basic Elevate design.
A new Crystal Black Pearl paint shade is now available across multiple trims, adding to the choice of dark and premium-looking finishes. With many buyers gravitating toward darker colours, this option is expected to be popular during the festival season.
The ZX trim now includes a 360-degree camera system, a feature that brings it in line with competitors like the Creta and Seltos. The camera improves parking visibility and safety in crowded city conditions. Seven-colour ambient lighting is also available, giving the cabin a customisable feel.
Honda has launched two Black Edition variants. The standard version combines dark paintwork with chrome and silver detailing, while the Signature Black Edition goes all-in with a fully blacked-out treatment, the Alpha-Bold grille, and ambient lighting as standard. These editions are aimed at younger buyers who prefer more dramatic styling.
The refreshed Elevate range starts at Rs 12.39 lakh for the V grade, Rs 14.13 lakh for the VX, and Rs 15.51 lakh for the ZX Black Edition (all prices ex-showroom Delhi). By keeping the pricing within reach while adding visible improvements, Honda has tried to strengthen the value proposition of the Elevate against rivals.
Mechanically, the Elevate remains unchanged, with the 1.5-litre petrol engine offered in both manual and automatic forms. Honda still does not offer diesel or hybrid options, which could limit its appeal compared to rivals that do. But the updates are targeted at improving the ownership experience through comfort, convenience, and styling.
The refreshed Elevate shows Honda’s strategy of continuous improvements rather than full-scale redesigns. By focusing on interior variety, small styling tweaks, and added tech, Honda is giving buyers reasons to revisit the model during the high-sales festival season. How well these updates are received will determine whether the Elevate can hold its ground in a fiercely contested compact SUV segment.
