The Japanese automotive giant, Honda Cars India, is offering huge discounts on its popular models in the country. This year-end discount is being offered to clear out the old inventory before the beginning of the new year. These discounts range from Rs 55,000 all the way up to Rs 1.22 lakh. So, without any delay, here are the discount details of the Honda cars currently for sale in India.

Honda Amaze

First off, let’s start with the vehicle with the most discount. The sub-compact sedan, Amaze, is currently being offered with a massive Rs 1.22 lakh discount. It should be noted that this discount is only available on the top-spec ZX variant.

The mid-spec and base variants only get discounts of Rs 82,000 and Rs 72,000, respectively. For those who may be wondering why this popular sub-compact sedan is getting such generous discounts:

The answer is that the company is about to launch the new generation of Amaze in December, following which the demand for this current generation model will drop. So, if you are interested in getting a huge discount, you can get the present model with a great deal on it.

Honda City

The City, which is another fan favorite, is also getting a ton of attractive discounts. The maximum discount on the latest generation Honda City is Rs 1.14 lakh. Honda is offering discounts of Rs 94,000 on the ZX variant and Rs 84,000 on other variants of this popular mid-size sedan. Additionally, the Honda City e:HEV, the strong hybrid version of this sedan, is also getting a Rs 90,000 discount.

Honda Elevate

The brand’s latest launch, its mid-size SUV based on the Honda City’s platform — Elevate, is also getting substantial discounts. The top-of-the-line ZX variant gets a Rs 75,000 discount. Meanwhile, the other variants get Rs 65,000 discounts. Elevate’s newly launched Apex Edition also gets a Rs 55,000 discount.

Honda Amaze new generation coming next month

As stated, Honda is getting ready to launch the newest generation of the Amaze sub-compact sedan next month. It will officially take the covers off on December 4th. The company recently shared a few teaser sketches of this upcoming sedan, and a ton of changes can be noted from those.

At the front, the new generation Amaze will get a brand-new front fascia, which will be a lot more aggressive than the present model. It will boast an all-new grille with Elevate-like elements. There will also be new, sleeker-looking LED headlights with L-shaped LED DRLs.

On the side profile, like all new-generation models, a set of new alloy wheels will be added. Moving to the rear section, the new Amaze will get City-like, sleeker LED taillights with three LED strips on the ends. The rear bumper also looks much sharper and bolder.

Not only has the exterior been completely revised, but the company is also giving the new Amaze a brand-new cabin as well. The main highlight will be a new and bigger touchscreen infotainment screen, which will be a free-standing unit like the Elevate.

There will also be an Elevate-like automatic climate control system, wireless charging shelf, USB ports, and two cup holders. A single-pane electric sunroof is also expected. Currently, the only sedan in its segment to offer this feature is the new fourth-generation Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

As for the powertrain, Honda is not looking to change its tried-and-tested 1.2-litre engine. This motor is capable of producing 89 bhp and 110 Nm of torque. For transmission, it will continue to get the same 5-speed manual as well as a CVT gearbox.
