The upcoming year of 2025 will be a big year for Hyundai. As per the reports, the South Korean automotive giant is planning to offer four new electric vehicles in India. So today, we thought we should bring to you all the details of these Hyundai electric vehicles which will be making their debut in the coming year. So without any further delay, let’s have a look at the details of these upcoming electric cars from Hyundai.

Hyundai Creta EV

The first and most important electric vehicle to be launched from Hyundai will be the electric version of the already popular Creta mid-size SUV. As per the reports, the Creta EV is set to make its debut at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo in January 2025.

In terms of design, the Hyundai Creta EV will take its majority inspiration from the Creta ICE. However, there will be a few EV-specific design cues such as a closed-off grille, different front and rear bumpers, and a few other details. As for the interior, it will largely remain the same.

However, there will be some differences, including a rotary knob for drive mode select and a new three-spoke steering wheel. It will also come equipped with a panoramic sunroof, ADAS level 2, dual-zone climate control, and many other features.

Coming to the powertrain side of things, it will be getting two battery pack options, but the sizes have not been confirmed. What has been reported is that the bigger battery could offer around 500 km of range. It could be priced in the range of Rs 20-28 lakh and compete with BYD Atto 3, Maruti Suzuki eVX, and Tata Harrier EV.

Hyundai Ioniq 5 Facelift

Hyundai Ioniq 5 facelift

Hyundai recently unveiled the facelifted version of its top-of-the-line crossover SUV, the Ioniq 5 EV, globally. It is believed that the facelift could be making its way to India as well. This time around, the Ioniq 5 facelift will be getting a bigger battery pack of 84 kWh, which could offer a range greater than the current model’s 631 km.

Other updates that will be offered with the facelifted Ioniq 5 include improved dampers, additional reinforcements, and better sound insulation for more comfort and quietness. It will also get a revised grille, new bumpers, and a new set of alloy wheels as well.

Hyundai Inster EV

To rival the already successful Tata Punch EV, Hyundai is gearing up for the launch of the Inster EV micro-SUV, which was recently unveiled globally. This micro-SUV will be based on the E-GMP (K) platform from the brand. On the outside, it will boast a quirky design language that will look very modern and futuristic.

In terms of features, it will come loaded with dual 10.25-inch screens, ADAS, automatic climate control, and a 360-degree camera. As for the powertrain options, it could be offered with two motor options: one with 97 bhp of power and one with 115 bhp.

Also, there could be two battery pack options—42 kWh and 49 kWh—offering 300 km and 355 km in a single full charge. Once launched, it will be taking on the Tata Punch EV and the Citroen eC3 in India. Expect it to be priced in the range of Rs 9-15 lakh.

Hyundai Venue EV

At the moment, the information on the Hyundai Venue EV is very scarce. However, what we do know is that Hyundai will definitely be launching this SUV in the coming years to compete with the Tata Nexon EV and Mahindra XUV400.
