2025 Hyundai Alcazar Gets A BIG Update
The South Korean automotive giant, Hyundai Motor India Limited, has given a notable update to its top-of-the-line SUV, the Alcazar. This SUV now gets a wireless adapter, with the help of which buyers will now be able to use wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Prior to this update, the owners of the Alcazar had to use a wire to connect their phones with the infotainment system to be able to use Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. Apart from this, the rest of the vehicle remains the same.
2025 Hyundai Alcazar’s Update
A lot of new car buyers now expect their vehicles to come with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. However, the Alcazar facelift, when it was launched in September of last year, was offered with wired connectivity to these systems. So, in order to provide Alcazar customers with more convenience, the company has introduced a new wireless adapter.
Apart from this update, the rest of the vehicle remains the same. However, the company has increased the prices of this family SUV. Both the 1.5-litre turbo petrol and 1.5-litre diesel engine variants now start at ₹17.21 lakh and go all the way to ₹21.58 lakh. There are three variants, namely Prestige, Platinum, and Signature, and they come in 6- and 7-seater layouts.
Hyundai has kept the rest of the vehicle exactly the same as before. As stated last year, the company launched the Alcazar’s facelifted version in India. It comes equipped with features such as a magnetic pad on the driver’s side and a centre console that has touch-based HVAC controls. The SUV gets a 10.25-inch HD infotainment touchscreen with a multi-language user interface that supports up to 10 regional and two international languages.
It also gets two wireless smartphone chargers, ambient lighting, a front-row seatback table with an IT device holder and a retractable cup holder, a large panoramic sunroof, rain-sensing wipers, and an NFC-enabled digital key that lets you use your smartphone as the vehicle key.
Powering the Hyundai Alcazar are the same engines as before. It gets a 1.5 TGDI turbocharged petrol engine and a 1.5 U2 diesel engine. The diesel motor produces 116 bhp and 250 Nm and comes with a 6-speed manual gearbox and an optional 6-speed automatic transmission. The turbo-petrol, on the other hand, makes 160 bhp and 253 Nm and comes with a 7-speed DCT gearbox and a 6-speed manual transmission option.

Hyundai Once Again Is the Second Bestseller in India
Earlier in February of this year, Hyundai Motor India Limited slipped to the fourth spot on the best-selling car brands list in India. However, with the release of March sales data, it has been reported that the company has now regained the second spot. In March, Hyundai dispatched a total of 51,820 units.
