Hyundai Creta Electric Smart (O) Variant Detailed Walkaround [Video]

The country's second-largest carmaker, Hyundai Motor India Limited, last month launched the Creta Electric SUV in India. This new SUV is available with two battery pack options—42 kWh and 51.4 kWh—and buyers can choose from five variants. Recently, a video has been shared online in which a vlogger gives a detailed walkaround of the most affordable long-range variant—Smart (O). In this video, he talks about all the design and feature details of this particular variant.
This video of the Hyundai Creta Electric Smart (O) long-range variant has been shared on YouTube by GA Automotive on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that this particular Smart (O) LR variant is the most value-for-money variant of the Creta Electric. He highlights that this particular variant comes with the bigger 51.4 kWh battery pack that offers a claimed range of 473 km.
It comes paired with an electric motor capable of generating 171 PS of power and 255 Nm of torque. Also, this variant can do a sprint from 0-100 kmph in just 7.9 seconds. He adds that Hyundai only offers the long-range, bigger battery pack in two variants, namely—Smart (O) and Excellence. Following this, he then starts the exterior walkaround of this SUV.
Following the introduction, he starts showing the exterior of this SUV. At the front, the Smart (O) variant comes equipped with a connected LED DRL, sequential turn indicators, vertically stacked quad LED headlights, and a pixelated closed-off front grille. Apart from this, the SUV also comes equipped with the charging port hidden under the Hyundai badge at the front.
Additionally, the vehicle also gets active aero flaps at the front lower section of the bumper. The vlogger then highlights that this variant misses out on features such as a front camera, front parking sensors, Level 2 ADAS, and rain-sensing wipers. Next up, he moves to the side profile of the Creta Electric Smart (O).
This particular variant gets the same 17-inch aero disc alloy wheels and disc brakes on all four corners. It also gets powered ORVMs, which open and close with the key unlock and lock button. After this, the vlogger then shows the rear of the vehicle, which gets connected LED taillights, an integrated rear spoiler, and a pixelated rear bumper with a chunky silver skid plate.
Following the exterior walkaround, the vlogger then shows the interior of the Creta Electric Smart (O) variant. It comes equipped with a dual-tone granite grey and dark navy interior. Also, this variant gets four speakers, two tweeters, a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, dual-zone climate control, ambient lighting, and a panoramic sunroof.
It also comes with dual connected 10.25-inch screens. The left screen is the touchscreen infotainment system, which gets wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and the right screen is the digital instrument gauge cluster. The Smart (O) variant also comes with cruise control, paddle shifters to adjust regeneration, an electronic parking brake, and many other features.
The vlogger then talks about the pricing of the Hyundai Creta Electric Smart (O). This particular trim is priced at Rs 21.49 lakh. As for the Smart (O) variant with the smaller 42 kWh battery pack, it is priced at Rs 18.99 lakh. The most affordable variant of the Creta Electric is priced at Rs 17.99 lakh, and the most expensive trim costs Rs 23.49 lakh.
