Hyundai Creta Electric SUV Reaches Dealerships Ahead Of 17th January Launch [Video]

Hyundai Motor India Limited is about to launch the all-new Creta Electric at the Bharat Mobility Global Auto Expo on 17th January. Prior to the official launch of this highly anticipated electric SUV, the company has already started dispatching it to dealerships across the country. Recently, a video walkaround of the soon-to-be-launched Creta Electric has been shared online. The vlogger in this video shows the complete exterior and interior design of this SUV.

The serial video walkaround of the Hyundai Creta Electric has been shared on YouTube by Avtansh Singh on their channel. It starts off with the vlogger mentioning that this particular Creta EV is finished in the classy shade of Abyss Black Pearl. Following the introduction, the vlogger then starts talking about the design of the new Creta Electric.

At the front, the vlogger mentions that the new Creta Electric comes with a unique closed-off grille, a pixelated front bumper, and a silver skid plate, which merges effortlessly with the front bumper of this SUV. He adds that apart from this, the vehicle gets the same vertically stacked LED headlights and the same connected LED DRLs at the front.

Following the front end, the vlogger then moves to the side profile. He first talks about the main highlight, which is the addition of new 17-inch aeroblade-style wheels. Apart from this, the car looks identical to the ICE model. It continues to get the same silver garnish on the quarter panel and also the matte black claddings around the wheel arches and the lower portion of the doors.

Next up, the vlogger shows the rear of the Creta Electric. He states that the new model gets electric badging on the rear right part of the tailgate. Other than that, it gets the same L-shaped connected LED taillights, high-mount stop lamp, and rear wiper, washer, and blade. Finally, the vlogger opens the boot of the car and shows the two different chargers. One is a wall-mounted charger, and the other is a portable charger.

After giving a complete walkaround of the exterior, the vlogger shows the interior of this SUV. He states that Hyundai has kept the overall dashboard layout the same as the standard model. However, there are some differences. It gets a new three-spoke steering wheel, which misses out on the Hyundai logo.

There is also a new center console, which now gets two cup holders, ambient lighting, an electronic parking brake, a rotary knob for drive mode selection, and an armrest. It also gets buttons for the front ventilated seats. Next, he adds that the Creta Electric also comes with connected 10.25-inch screens for infotainment and the digital instrument gauge cluster.

Apart from this, the SUV also gets a V2L (vehicle-to-load) output point. With the use of this point, small appliances like a coffee maker, laptop charger, speakers, and fans can be run on electricity. It also gets a unique drive selector behind the steering wheel, which has been taken from the Hyundai Ioniq 5 EV SUV.

Hyundai Creta Electric: Powertrain

The vlogger mentions that this particular variant is the top-of-the-line variant of the Creta Electric, which comes with the 51.4 kWh battery pack. It offers a maximum range of 473 km and is powered by a 171 PS electric motor. There is also a smaller 42 kWh battery pack, which offers 390 km of range and will be paired with an electric motor making 135 PS.
