Hyundai, India’s second-largest car manufacturer, has announced that they have sold over 1 lakh units of the Hyundai Creta facelift in the market. Hyundai managed to achieve this feat in just six months after the launch. Hyundai launched the facelifted version of the Creta in January this year. A detailed first drive review of the new Creta is already available on our website and YouTube channel.

Hyundai has been very consistent with the sales numbers since Creta’s launch. On average, Hyundai sells around 15,000 units of the Creta every month. The sales number hit a peak in March when they sold 16,458 units.

Commenting on the milestone, Tarun Garg, COO of Hyundai Motor India Limited, said, “We are thrilled with the remarkable achievement of the new Hyundai Creta 2024. Our SUV has achieved another milestone of one lakh sales, reaffirming its strong fan following in its segment. We are confident that the Hyundai Creta will continue to set new benchmarks in the Indian automobile industry and delight customers.”

Hyundai Creta is a mid-SUV, placed in one of the most competitive segments in the country. However, it has managed to stay ahead of the competition all these years. Here are a few points explaining why we feel the Creta is so popular among buyers in India:

Good Looks

Hyundai Creta has always been a good-looking SUV. The pre-facelift version of the SUV had a polarizing design, but even that grew on customers over time. The facelifted version looks muscular and premium at the same time. The new design gives the Creta a wide look that enhances its SUV image.

There’s a Creta For Everyone

Hyundai has always been a brand that offers a variety of options to customers. The same is true for the Creta. The current version of the Creta is available with three engine options. There is a 1.5-litre NA petrol engine which comes with a manual transmission. The 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine offers both manual and automatic transmission options. The top-end 1.5-litre turbo petrol engine comes with a DCT gearbox. Hyundai caters to the needs of all types of customers by offering so many engine options.

Feature-Rich

Hyundai Creta Facelift

Hyundai Creta has always been a step ahead of the competition when it comes to features. They offer various segment-first features, which customers love. This gives the Creta a premium look. The facelifted version’s higher variant even comes with features like level 2 ADAS, making the car more appealing.

Creta – The Brand

The first Creta SUV was launched in India almost nine years ago. The SUV has built a space and image for itself over the years, and now Creta is more than just a model among SUV buyers; it is now a brand. People looking for a new SUV in this segment often compare it with the Creta, which says a lot about its popularity.

Resale

Hyundai Creta Facelift

Just like Maruti Suzuki, Hyundai has done their homework well and now has a widespread sales and service network across the nation. Hyundai also offers a great ownership experience and low maintenance costs, resulting in great resale value for these cars.
