In just a few days’ time, the South Korean automotive giant Hyundai will be launching the new Alcazar facelift in India. Now, we all have already seen this SUV and know about its details. Exterior Design

However, the facelifted Alcazar now boasts a unique grille. It also gets a new H-shaped LED DRL signature and a completely redesigned, chunkier front bumper. These changes give the Alcazar a more aggressive and distinctive look compared to the Creta.
At the rear, the story is somewhat different. The outgoing models of the Creta and Alcazar had better differentiation, but the new facelifts see a closer resemblance. Both SUVs feature different LED signatures in the tail lamps and distinct rear bumpers.
However, the illuminated LED strip connecting the tail lights makes them look more alike. Also, when viewed from the side, the Alcazar stands out with its larger 18-inch alloy wheels and functional roof rails. Meanwhile, the Creta sports slightly smaller 17-inch alloys.

Once you step inside, you’ll notice that the Hyundai Creta and Alcazar share a lot in terms of interior design and features. Both SUVs offer a modern cabin, with twin connected screens, ventilated front seats, dual-zone climate control, and a panoramic sunroof as standard.

Powertrain and Performance
Coming to the powertrains, the Hyundai Creta and Alcazar share a lot of common ground, but they have very different positioning in the market. Both SUVs are powered by the same 160 bhp, 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine and the 116 bhp, 1.5-litre diesel engine.
These engines come with a standard manual gearbox. Meanwhile, the turbo-petrol engine gets a dual-clutch transmission (DCT) option. Also, the diesel engine gets a torque converter automatic option.
The Creta, in addition to the above motors, also offers an additional engine option. It is a 115 bhp, 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine is only available with a manual transmission (MT) and a continuously variable transmission (CVT). This engine is not offered in the Alcazar.
