10 New Hyundai Cars Launching In 2 Years: Creta Strong Hybrid To All-New Venue
The South Korean automotive giant Hyundai Motor India Limited has been losing its position as the second-largest carmaker in India for a few months now. However, now to address this issue, the company is working on the development of a ton of new models. In the coming two years, Hyundai is planning to launch 10 new cars in India. Now, if you are a Hyundai fan, then this list is definitely for you.
10 new Hyundai cars coming to India
Hyundai Venue second generation
The first car on this list, which will be making its debut this year, will be the second generation of the Venue sub-compact SUV. This time around, the company has given the model a thorough design refresh.
It will get a brand-new front fascia with rectangular hollow elements, new C-shaped LED DRLs, and vertically stacked LED headlights. The alloy wheels and the rear LED taillights will also be new. Powertrain options will remain the same. It will most likely be launched by October of this year.
Hyundai Venue N-Line
Reportedly, a few months after the launch of the second-generation Venue in India, the company will be launching the N-Line version of this already popular sub-compact SUV. It will come equipped with a different and more aggressive front bumper and grille, different and more sporty alloy wheels, and a different rear bumper with twin-exit exhaust ports. The new Hyundai Venue N-Line is expected to be launched before the end of this year.
Hyundai Exter facelift
The Hyundai Exter micro-SUV, which competes with the popular Tata Punch, was first launched in India back in July 2023. Since then, the company has given it a few different updates. However, now the vehicle is due for a thorough facelift. Most likely, the facelifted iteration of the Exter will be making its debut next year. We can expect an updated exterior design and some additional features. Powertrain options will most likely remain the same.
Hyundai Verna facelift
Like the Exter, the new generation of the Verna mid-size sedan has also been in the market for some time now. So, in order to push the sales, the company is expected to provide it with a mid-life facelift. Most likely, we will see an updated front and rear bumper, new alloy wheels, and other minor changes. The facelifted iteration of the Verna is expected to launch next year.
Hyundai Inster-based affordable EV
Hyundai is betting big on the future of electric cars, and it wants to capture the affordable EV market of India. The company is currently working on the development of an affordable electric vehicle, which will be based on the internationally launched Inster EV. This model in the Indian market could offer a range of around 335–350 km on a single full charge. Most likely, it will take on the Tata Punch.ev and the Citroen eC3 in India.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios new generation
The current Grand i10 Nios has been in the market for a while now. It received a mid-life facelift; however, it is now due for a generation change. Reportedly, this new model will be making its debut in 2027. At the moment, not much is known about this model. However, expect to see a major exterior and interior design revamp, which will bring it in line with the current Hyundai models.
Hyundai Creta new generation
The company last year gave the popular mid-size SUV Creta a thorough facelift. However, this model is still based on the second-generation model. Now, reports have highlighted that the company is working on the development of the new generation of this super hot-selling SUV. Expect a brand-new exterior, interior, and there could also be changes to the drivetrain options as well. Most likely, it will be launched in 2027.
Hyundai Creta Hybrid
Apart from the launch of the new generation of the Creta, Hyundai is said to be working on a strong hybrid version of the Creta as well. This new model is expected to come powered by a 1.6-litre turbo petrol engine, which will make 141 bhp and 265 Nm of torque. This same hybrid powertrain will be used on the Kia Seltos Hybrid as well.
Hyundai i20 new generation
In 2027, Hyundai is also expected to launch the new generation of its popular premium hatchback, the i20. The current-generation model has been out for quite some time now, and it is now due for a complete revamp. At the moment, there are no details of this upcoming hatchback. However, most likely, we will be seeing the test mules of the new i20 next year.
Hyundai i20 N-Line new generation
Following the launch of the standard 2027 i20, the company will most likely also launch the N-Line variant of this model. We can expect to see more aggressive front and rear bumpers, twin-exit exhaust ports, and a few other N-Line-specific bits.
