Hyundai Motor India has rolled out big discounts across its model range for August 2025. With the festive season nearing, the brand is looking to attract more buyers by offering Big savings of up to Rs 1 lakh. This move puts Hyundai in a strong position to boost sales and compete with other carmakers launching similar discount drives.

The Hyundai Tucson leads the offer list with a total benefit of Rs 1 lakh. This includes a Rs 50,000 cash discount and a Rs 50,000 scrappage bonus. The Tucson, a premium SUV, offers both petrol and diesel engine options and is known for its features and comfort. Such a high discount in the premium SUV category is rare, which makes this offer significant.

Venue and Venue-N Line: Deals up to Rs 85,000

Hyundai is offering Rs 85,000 in total benefits on the Venue, one of its best-selling compact SUVs. This includes a Rs 40,000 cash discount and Rs 45,000 in exchange or scrappage bonuses. The Venue N Line, a sportier version of the regular Venue, mirrors the same discounts. These deals aim to keep the Venue competitive against popular rivals like the Maruti Brezza and Tata Nexon.

Grand i10 NIOS: Attractive for Budget Buyers

The Grand i10 NIOS gets total benefits of up to Rs 70,000. This includes a Rs 35,000 cash discount and a Rs 30,000 scrappage bonus. An additional Rs 5,000 is offered under the Pride of India scheme. With these offers, Hyundai aims to attract first-time car buyers looking for a compact and feature-rich hatchback at a lower entry price.

i20 and i20 N Line: Premium Hatchback Discounts

The i20 range also sees price reductions. The regular i20 gets up to Rs 70,000 in benefits, while the i20 N Line receives up to Rs 60,000. These include a mix of cash discounts and scrappage bonuses. Hyundai’s focus here is on making the premium hatchback more accessible to budget-conscious buyers who want high-end features.

Aura and Creta: Different Strategies

The Hyundai Aura sedan receives up to Rs 45,000 in benefits. This includes Rs 25,000 in cash, Rs 15,000 scrappage bonus, and Rs 5,000 under the Pride of India offer. On the other hand, the popular Hyundai Creta gets only a Rs 5,000 scrappage bonus. This shows Hyundai’s confidence in the Creta’s strong demand, which requires little price intervention to maintain sales.

Other Models: Verna, Exter, and Alcazar

Hyundai is also offering up to Rs 65,000 off on the Verna sedan. The Exter compact SUV, which launched recently, carries total benefits of Rs 60,000. Meanwhile, the three-row SUV Alcazar gets a discount of up to Rs 70,000. These offers are aimed at attracting different types of buyers across various segments.

These discounts should help Hyundai draw attention during the high-sales festive season. Customers must be aware that exchange bonuses usually cannot be clubbed with scrappage benefits. The availability of offers may also vary by region and dealer stock. For many models, Hyundai’s current price cuts make them better value than before and could drive higher footfall across showrooms.
