Hyundai Exter TVC Starring Bollywood Actor Pankaj Tripathi Is Now Playing [Video]
The Bollywood actor Pankaj Tripathi is one of the most famed and skilled actors in the industry. He is known for his amazing supporting roles. Recently, Pankaj Tripathi was announced as the brand ambassador of the South Korean automotive giant Hyundai Motor India Limited. Now, the company has released the first TVC featuring the acclaimed actor. In this particular TVC, Pankaj Tripathi was seen promoting the sub-compact SUV Exter.

This new television commercial of the Hyundai Exter featuring Pankaj Tripathi has been shared on Instagram by Hyundai India. It starts off with a man and his son trying to peek inside a Hyundai Exter, soon after which Pankaj Tripathi, who was sitting inside the vehicle, opens the driver-side window and starts having a conversation with the man and his son.
Tripathi then starts talking with this man about the car he bought yesterday (hinting at the Exter’s main rival, the Tata Punch). He asks if his newly bought car comes with a voice-activated sunroof. To this, the son of this man replies in a funny but sarcastic tone, and then Pankaj Tripathi asks about the paddle shifters. The kid then replies that it comes with paddles.
Finally, when Pankaj Tripathi asks about the deals that they received with their new car, the kid then shows him the lollipop that he had, highlighting that they did not get any deals. Soon after this, Pankaj Tripathi starts mentioning that currently Hyundai is offering great deals on its cars, so buyers should visit the nearest dealers to check out their favourite Hyundai models. As per this TVC, the company is offering benefits up to Rs 1 lakh on its select models.
More affordable Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo launched
In other Hyundai Exter news, recently the company launched the new and more affordable version of the Exter Hy-CNG Duo in India. The new variant is the EX variant, which starts at Rs 7.5 lakh. It sits below the S Executive Duo variant, which is currently priced at Rs 8.64 lakh.
This new variant comes equipped with a digital instrument gauge cluster with a 4.2-inch color TFT MID, signature H-LED taillights, driver seat height adjustment, and keyless entry. The main highlight of the Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo is the dual-cylinder system. In this system, the vehicle gets two smaller CNG cylinders instead of a single cylinder, which is more efficient in space management.
In addition to this, Hyundai also offers this dual-cylinder system with an integrated Electronic Control Unit (ECU). This helps in ensuring a smooth switch between petrol and CNG modes. Apart from this, the rest of the vehicle is the same as the standard Exter.
The Hyundai Exter Hy-CNG Duo comes equipped with a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine. This engine comes paired with a five-speed manual gearbox. It produces a maximum power output of 68 bhp and a torque of 95.2 Nm when running on CNG. It offers an impressive fuel efficiency of 27.1 km/kg. Combined, both cylinders have a 60-litre tank capacity.
Apart from the newly launched Exter Hy-CNG Duo EX variant, the company is also working on the development of the new second-generation Venue sub-compact SUV. This new model has been spotted testing in the country, and it is scheduled to be launched in the coming months.
