Tata Curvv.EV Owner Shows How He Got The Lamborghini Urus Yellow Look [Video]

People have been vocal about the undeniable visual resemblance between the Tata Curvv.EV and Lamborghini Urus. Someone from Kerala has taken things to the next level by doing an Urus-like Yellow paint job on it. The vehicle has been getting much attention online, and many including us did stories on it. The detailing shop has now released a video showing the workflow, and explaining the changes made to the EV.
It shows a passionate owner taking delivery of the stock EV from the recently opened Tata.EV outlet in Kochi. Tata offers five colour choices for the Curvv.EV- Pristine White, Flame Red, Empowered White, Pure Grey, and Virtual Sunrise. There is no shade offered, that stands anywhere close to the Lambo Yellow.
In the cinematic reel, the owner is seen browsing through the available colour options and settling down for White, as Yellow was not in the palette. He finally takes delivery of his new Curvv.EV in White, and drives it straight to Autostarke – a detailing shop in Kochi.
Further in the video, you get to see the transformation that the Curvv.EV undergoes at Autostarke. It gets a new paintjob that stands extremely close to Lamborghini’s iconic Giallo Inti (Yellow Sunburst) shade. Giallo Inti is used on the Urus Pearl Capsule. Honest opinion: Is it the same colour? No. Is it similar? Very much…
This Curvv.EV also has major upgrades done to its cabin. It now uses a lot of soft-touch materials, The door pads and upholstery are finished in imported leather. These get Lamborghini-inspired quilted patterns. The dashboard also gets major leather additions. The cabin colourway has been changed to a darker, classier one.
The Curvv.EV comes with ventilated seats at the front. Courtesy of the high-quality materials used and the quality of labour, the new seat covers keep the ventilation functional. The seat belts are now finished in Yellow. The pedals have been upgraded with Razo covers.
The paint quality and finish on both the exterior and interior are exceptional. The new upholstery seems cosy and stylish. Even the rear seats get quilted leather and the provision for ventilation, meaning the owner can add it later if he wishes to. The detailing shop has tried its best to keep the car in a ‘true to OE’ form. With the Yellow paint, the visual appeal of the Curvv.EV has had a spike, and is now no short of being an attention-magnet.
The vehicle was first noticed standing at the dealer’s entrance. We are still unsure if this is an owner’s car or the detailing shop’s demo car. It makes sense to think this way as Autostarke has Luxon as its parent company. Luxon is also one of the dealer partners for Tata Motors in Kerala.
The most striking part of the Curvv.EV’s design is its coupe form. It also comes with a closed-off grille, EV wheels, low-resistance tyres, flush door handles, and all-LED lighting. The cabin doesn’t fall short of features or technology. The SUV offers ventilated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, a touchscreen infotainment system, a fully digital instrument cluster, Tata’s new steering wheel with an illuminated logo and a multi-mode regen, among others.
The electric SUV coupe is available in five trims- Creative, Accomplished, Accomplished+, Empowered, and Empowered+. It offers the choice of two battery packs- 45 kWh and 55 kWh. The smaller battery comes with just the Creative, Accomplished, and Accomplished+ variants while the 55kWh unit is available with the Accomplished, Accomplished+, Empowered, and Empowered+ variants.
The 55 kWh unit is the largest battery installed on any Tata EV yet. It is claimed to deliver a range of 585 km. The smaller unit has a claimed range of 502 km. The 45 kWh powertrain generates 148 Bhp and 215 Nm, while the larger one produces 165 Bhp and 215 Nm.
