Right-handed wicket-keeper batsman Wriddhiman Saha recently posted an image of himself standing next to a BMW X7 luxury SUV. The cricketer has achieved his childhood dream of owning a BMW, and he is extremely happy about it. The 39-year-old cricketer shared the image of his newly purchased luxury SUV on various social media platforms.

Wriddhiman Saha posted the image with the caption, “From dreaming as a 12-year-old to realizing it at the near end of my career, bringing home this BMW is a testament that good things come to those who wait. An emotional moment for me and my family.” In this image, we can see the cricketer standing next to his newly bought SUV while posing for the picture. We don’t know if this is the first luxury car that the cricketer owns or if it is the first BMW in his collection.

The 39-year-old cricketer is currently out of the India Test Team and is unlikely to play for the country again. He has hinted at the same in the caption too. He represented the Indian Test team in 2021, where he played against New Zealand in Mumbai. Saha was representing Tripura for the last couple of years and has now returned to Bengal and will be representing his home team. The issues with the Cricket Association of Bengal have been resolved. The cricketer will continue to play in the IPL and will be representing the Gujarat Titans.

BMW X7

The BMW X7 is the flagship SUV from the manufacturer. It is available in three variants in the market: the xDrive40i M Sport, which costs Rs 1.27 crore ex-showroom, the xDrive40d Design Pure Excellence, which costs Rs 1.29 crore ex-showroom, and the xDrive40d M Sport, which costs Rs 1.30 crore ex-showroom. We ran the registration number of the SUV online and found that the cricketer has bought the diesel variant that costs Rs 1.29 crore ex-showroom.

The SUV comes with a massive kidney grille, sleeker redesigned LED headlamps, chrome-garnished air vents, and 3D tail lamps. The front grilles of the new generation BMWs are polarizing, and the X7 is no different. There are people who appreciate it, and there are others who don’t.

As this is the flagship SUV from BMW, it is loaded with features. The X7 comes with dual screens on the dashboard. One is a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and the other is a 14.9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit. It also offers a panoramic sunroof, 14-color ambient lighting, and a digital key.

Premium leather upholstery, multi-zone climate control, seat ventilation, and electrically adjustable driver and passenger seats are some of the other features.

BMW also offers features like multiple airbags, a 360-degree camera, dynamic stability control (DSC), and cornering brake control (CBC). Adaptive cruise control and driver drowsiness detection, which are part of ADAS, are also features that BMW offers with the X7.

The cricketer has bought the SUV in a Sapphire Black shade. For the interiors, customers can choose from Tartufo, Ivory White, and Black shade upholstery. The SUV is available with both petrol and diesel engine options.

Both of them are 3.0-liter inline six-cylinder twin-turbo engines. The diesel variant generates 340 PS and 700 Nm of peak torque. It gets a 48v mild hybrid system and an 8-speed automatic transmission as standard.
