Drunk Woman Drives Kia Sonet SUV Onto Railway Track To Record Viral Video: Busted

Every day, we come across at least one video where people are seen driving a car or a bike recklessly on the road. Such behaviour also causes accidents, and we have several examples on the internet that prove the same. Social media is another reason behind such behaviour. People often drive dangerously on public roads to create viral content that they can post online.
Well, here we have a video of a woman who probably thought driving on a railway track for a viral video was a good idea.
The video has been shared by Newsmeter on their X profile. The incident happened in Shankarpalli, Telangana. In the videos and images that have surfaced online, we see a Kia Sonet SUV being driven on an active railway track. We usually see people get stuck on railway tracks after they accidentally drive onto them.
However, in this case, we see that the Kia Sonet was aligned with the railway track, and the driver was actually moving over the track. The post mentions that the person driving the car was a woman and that she was doing this stunt intentionally. Railway officials who spotted the car on the track informed the station and halted the trains running on this route for safety reasons.
They tried to stop the woman, as seen in the video, but she ignored them and continued to drive on the track. After running after the car for some distance, they managed to stop it and forcefully opened the door.
The driver was dragged out of the seat, and the post mentions that the woman was reportedly intoxicated. She was probably drunk while doing this stunt. In fact, she recorded on her phone once she started driving on the track, which means she was probably trying to create viral content for social media by doing so.
We can see from the video that the woman was resisting the officials when they tried to get her out of the car. The incident was reported, and as per the post, the woman is currently in custody.
The window and windshield glass on the car were also broken, probably by the railway staff who were trying to stop her. Driving on an active railway track is not only illegal but also extremely dangerous. If the authorities had not spotted the car, she could have easily crashed into an oncoming train from any direction.
She could have been seriously injured and also caused damage to government property with her irresponsible behaviour. She not only put her own life but also the lives of hundreds of people at risk. The exact details about the action taken by the police against her are not known at the moment.
The comment section, as usual, has several sarcastic remarks below the post. Some of them are “Either she was proving she can follow lanes and drive straight, at least here on the track.” “Or she is so fed up with potholes on the roads.” “Stop oppressing women and allow them to drive on railway lines, water, and even in the air.” “She is the train.”
