Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition Launched In India At Rs 25.26 lakh
To commemorate its 8 years of presence in India, the American SUV manufacturing giant Jeep India has launched the new Compass Anniversary Edition. This new model has been launched with a price tag of Rs 25.26 lakh. As part of the Anniversary Edition, the already popular Compass gets a ton of exterior as well as interior upgrades. Mechanically, the Compass remains the same and gets the current 2.2-litre diesel engine.
Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition: What’s New?
Exterior Enhancements
Jumping directly into all the things that are being offered with the new Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition, the new Compass on the outside gets a Velvet Red front grille accent. Along with it, there is also a new bonnet decal which gets the Anniversary Edition logo.
This limited-period Anniversary Edition Compass will be offered in 7 paint shades. The list of these options includes Pearl White, Silvery Moon, Brilliant Black, Exotica Red, Magnesio Grey, Techno Metallic Green, and lastly Galaxy Blue. Apart from these, the rest of the exterior remains the same.
Interior Upgrades
Now coming to the interior updates, the new Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition comes with a few unique upgrades. The main highlight on the inside is the addition of Velvet Red seat upholstery, white ambient lighting, and an integrated dashcam.
Other highlights of the interior, which the standard models also come with, are the 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and a wireless charging pad. It also comes with a dual-pane panoramic sunroof and Jeep Life Connectivity suite.
Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition: Engine
As mentioned above, like all the limited-edition models, the Jeep Compass Anniversary Edition does not get any mechanical changes. It still comes powered by the same 2.2-litre diesel engine.
It generates a maximum power of 172 bhp and 350 Nm of torque. Jeep is offering the Compass Anniversary Edition with the same 6-speed manual as well as 6-speed torque converter automatic gearbox options.

Jeep Meridian Facelift On Its Way
Jeep India is currently working on the development of the Meridian Facelift. Over the last few months, a number of test mules of this SUV have been spotted testing in the country. The overall exterior design looks similar to the current generation model. However, there will be a few key updates.
One of the most important updates will be the addition of ADAS level 2 and a new nine-speed automatic transmission along with an AWD system. Other highlights will include an updated front fascia and slightly revised interior.
Apart from the Jeep Meridian Facelift, the company is also developing a brand-new SUV. This new SUV will most likely be priced under Rs 20 lakh and will compete with the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, along with others.
