Driving on the wrong side of the road is a major menace on Indian roads. Several accidents happen every day because of this irresponsible behavior. Not only do these accidents occur, but this behavior also creates inconvenience for other road users. There have been cases where people have reacted against such behavior. Here, we have a new video from Kerala where a police vehicle makes a bus driver reverse for driving on the wrong side of the road. Driving a heavy vehicle like a bus in this case is not an easy task.

The video has been shared on several social media platforms. The exact location where this happened is not known. National Highway widening work is currently ongoing in most parts of Kerala. Because of this, the service roads are often packed with vehicles, leading to long traffic jams.

The private bus seen in the video was probably running late when the driver decided to break the law by driving on the wrong side of the road. However, what he did not expect was a police vehicle. A Mahindra Bolero issued to Kerala Police was coming from the other direction.

The officers on duty spotted the bus and decided to block its way. We can see that there is a long line of vehicles waiting for their turn in the traffic jam. The bus driver simply wanted to act smart by avoiding the traffic jam and reaching his stop on time. The officers stopped the bus and asked the bus driver to go back. They asked the driver to reverse.

The video was recorded by someone who was stuck in the traffic jam. Most private buses in Kerala have a schedule, and they are often forced to reach their stops on time. This is probably why the bus driver was impatient and decided to drive on the wrong side of the road. The bus driver was forced to drive all the way back to the end of the line. Now, the bus driver has to wait for the vehicles to move even longer than before.
